Eve Thompson had a restless night and, by morning, felt she should really talk to Freya Morrison.
So, after having breakfast, she drove to school and upon arriving at Freya's dormitory, she made a phone call to Freya.
But the call didn't go through, the other side had their phone turned off.
Eve Thompson was stunned.
She then called Alex Tonkin, only to find his phone was also turned off.
A sense of foreboding grew within Eve Thompson.
She hastily called one of the other two girls in Freya's dormitory, and this time, the girl answered, her voice still heavy with the drowsiness of sleep, clearly not yet fully awake, "Hello, who is this..."
"Hi, this is Eve Thompson. I wanted to ask, is Freya Morrison in the dorm?" Eve asked urgently.
