A single sentence made Joey Thompson's legs go weak, and he almost fell to the ground.
From the day they met up until now, this was the first time he had seen himself so distraught... even worse than when Adrienne Dixon jumped off a building and was sent to the hospital.
He stuttered in disbelief, "This isn't possible... it can't be... Didn't they say her body was all right now? Wasn't she out of mortal danger? How could this happen..."
Upon hearing this, the doctor sighed, "The patient has lost the will to live. We're trying our very best to save her, but it seems that she doesn't want to stay alive..."

Joey Thompson stood up abruptly, "Let me see her, I want to convince her to live on! Doctor, I beg you, do not give up on her! Please don't give up on her! I'll give you money, all my money if I have to... but please don't give up, save her!"
