Eve Thompson slowly walked to the door of the ward and looked inside.
Upon looking, she saw Anthony Charlie leaning back in the hospital bed with his computer and some unprocessed documents on the table beside him.
Eve sighed, feeling a bit sorry for him.
Being blind and still having to deal with documents, it was so exhausting. Why couldn't he just take a proper rest?
However, judging by the documents nearby, they must have just been read out loud by Faith Williams, right? But what's the matter with Faith? Why isn't she always by Anthony's side, making life easier for a blind person?
She pursed her lips, opened the door, and walked in.
Hearing the door open, Anthony looked pitifully over in the direction of the door... When Eve's eyes met his, she felt a surge of pity.
She spoke up, "Mr. Charlie, it's Eve Thompson."
Anthony responded with an "Oh."
Eve pursed her lips and stuck out her tongue at him.
