Eve Thompson's voice trembled, and she uttered in disbelief, "Carlos Charlie? You... you're back?"
Carlos nodded, put his small hand on Eve's, and said, "I knew Mommy needed me, so I came back!"
That one sentence made Eve's eyes red again. She held Carlos in her arms, choking on her words, "Carlos, thank goodness... you're still here..."
"Mommy," Carlos spoke up, "I need your help."

Jack Pack went out to grab some food, feeling a headache coming on.
He thought to himself that it had been quite a while since this all began. When Turtle God was unconscious, he could barely feed her some food, but after she woke up, she seemed determined to starve herself to death. What now?
He sighed. If things didn't improve, they'd have to give her nutrient injections.
With this thought, he arrived at the hotel entrance, swiped his card to unlock the door, and went straight to the sofa, only to find the person missing.
Jack was stunned, and instinctively yelled, "Turtle God!"
