The private dining restaurant was very quiet.
Even the lobby didn't have many people, and there were only private rooms, no tables outside.
As soon as she entered, she felt that something was wrong.

Eve Thompson furrowed her brows and saw a middle-aged man with greasy hair in a suit walking towards her: "Are you Miss Thompson?"
Eve Thompson nodded.
The man then looked behind her, "Where's Mr. Zellweger?"
Eve Thompson replied, "Mr. Zellweger has another project to discuss at the company today. But don't worry, I can make the decisions too!"
Joshua Ward laughed, "That's true, it doesn't matter. We are just getting to know each other, making friends, and seeing if there's a chance to work together in the future. Miss Thompson, please?"
Eve Thompson nodded and followed Joshua Ward inside.
