Anthony Charlie paused for a moment, standing still in his tracks.

Anthony looked at him.
Struggling to find a reason, Faith continued, "You've suddenly cut ties with Miss Thompson, leaving her panic-stricken, which invited other men to take advantage of her vulnerability. Miss Thompson is only having dinner with Mr. Sharman to find someone else to rely on, but she doesn't have to demean herself like this. You won't abandon Miss Thompson, right~ So, it's better to explain things to her in person!"
Faith believed his excuse was nothing short of perfect!
He simply couldn't bear seeing his boss in this lifeless state any longer. He understood that Mr. Charlie's beloved had passed away... but that was six years ago. He had searched for her for six years, and that was long enough!
