James Black folded back on his path, his lips curling into a slight smile as he took one step after another back to Jane Sampson's side.
The next second, he swiftly reached out, snatching a small box that Jane somehow had clutched in the palm of her hand.
While staring at the dumbfounded face before him, James Black chuckled softly, "There, I've got it now, haven't I?"
It was both a show of bragging and a challenge.
Jane Sampson was utterly confused and caught off guard.
She hadn't anticipated this shameless side of James Black.
"Shall I open it?" James Black toyed with the box in his hand, feeling that the logo on it seemed vaguely familiar.
"Mhm~" Jane Sampson pouted her lips. He had already snatched it, so why even ask?
James Black first gently tapped Jane Sampson's forehead with his hand, then leisurely opened the small box.
It was a pair of cufflinks.
Specifically, a pair of diamond cufflinks.
