He wrote quickly, and Ms. Taylor couldn't see exactly what he had written. As Steve closed the documents and handed them to Ms. Taylor, he suddenly seemed to remember something, opened the documents, glanced at the signature column, and his brow furrowed slightly. He immediately tore the documents down, tore them to pieces in two or three strokes, and threw them into the trash can next to him. Then he looked up and said to the stunned Ms. Taylor, "Print me another copy of the document."
