Damien was in the room alone with Elder Rune. He had come back to make himself clear and to tell it to his father how serious he was about it.
"I want you to stay away from Scarlet. I don't want you anywhere in her sight or even breathing in the same direction she breathes."
"Interesting!" Elder Rune commented with a slight chuckle.
"I really mean it," Damien said, his voice firm.
Elder Rune read his facial expression and seeing how serious he was about it, he said, "I told you I'm not interested in killing this one."
"She is not some tool or object for you to refer to as 'this one'. Her name is Scarlet."
Elder Rune went quiet for several seconds, just looking at Damien. He knew he was being serious with what he was saying and it is not like he was interested in killing Scarlet, but, he was more interested in how she had changed him after the last one.
