Scarlet was haunted by the sight of Adam being stabbed by Samantha and even in the dream she was having, she cried, until she started to wake into consciousness and she felt the tears running down the side of her eye. She slowly opened her eyes and it fell on her desk, making her realize that she was in her room, most of all, she was home. She remembered the events of last night vividly. Damien had come for her and although she didn't remember how the rest of the journey was, she knew he had brought her home.
She heard a slight movement from the other side where her back was turned and she turned her body, thinking he had stayed by her side even till now, but when she did turn and saw who or what it was, her breath caught in her throat and she sat up immediately, eyes wide, staring at the person that stood in front of her.
