Scarlet felt a rush of wind blow past her and she felt her legs softly landing on the ground below. When she opened her eyes, she saw her large wings curved forward, shielding Harper and she stared in wonderment. She hasn't taken the time to admire how beautiful they were. She wished Damien could see how proud she was about it and see what she had done, but as soon as the thought of Damien came to her, she didn't think he would be too pleased with what she had done with his ex and her mood changed instantly.
From where they stood, they could see the half of the building collapsing and Melanie let out a sigh.
"Look what we've done," she said, sounding a little thrilled, but also knowing the consequences of it. They both know that with what they've done tonight, they will come looking for them.
