Two hours ago…
Scarlet watched the hospital from afar and she could not see any sign of Melanie or anyone around. She knew Melanie already got to the hospital long ago but what she didn't know was what was going on inside.
"Ding!" a notification popped up on her phone and she took it out before looking down to check it. She saw an app she never installed and when she opened it, it took her to something that looks like a location tracker and the red dot was on move.
"What's this?" she muttered under her breath and zoomed in to have a proper look before a call came in suddenly. She quickly picked it and she asked, "Who is this?"
"Miller," the person at the other end responded. "I'm going to bring your mother. Just don't do anything before then. We really don't know for sure what she may be up to."
"But I can't wait any longer. I'm afraid if I delay even a little more, I won't be able to forgive myself later on."
