Not knowing what is ahead of you and having an idea of what it may be can be a demon of fear to one's soul. At least, it was what Paige was battling with at the moment. She had been at home, waiting for Scarlet to return so she could break down what Father Jeremy had said the day before to her. Time went by so fast and when Scarlet would not return home, she knew something must have gone wrong and what gave her the confirmation was Johan. She had been sitting next to the window, eyes at alert on the street and all these while, she hasn't heard Johan passing with his bicycle or seen any sign of him. It was at that moment where she was getting worked up when it was already getting late that she heard someone knocking on the door. Not waiting to hear the voice of who it may be on the other side, she opened up and saw a man standing there.
