For the whole week, Scarlet didn't step out of the house. She wanted the week to herself, to prepare ahead of what is to come. She wasn't prepared for school mentally at the moment, or seeing her classmates, especially Melanie.
Melanie hasn't reached out to her, nor did Damien. Not even the least person she thought would ask of her; Harper, or even Johan.
Scarlet scrolled through her phone. Not even one message from anyone, except for group messages only. It was there she saw that Melanie is being questioned by the cops on what she knew about the night her parents died and where she had gone. Obviously, they came to her house two days ago to ask her how she found Melanie and few other things, but Scarlet didn't attend to them, instead, she locked the door to her room and listened as her mother spoke to the officers downstairs and she watched as they left from the window in her room.
