Scarlet walked out of the restroom, leaving Adam who stayed behind to reflect on the reality. She did not compel him, not because she trusted him not to talk, but because she didn't want to hurt him. She didn't want any complications for him as he seem to have a lot going on in his head. She doesn't even care if he goes around telling everyone she is a vampire. Most people would rather not believe him.
Scarlet did not know where to look for Melanie. The thought that she was still out there without anyone to help her made her feel depressed. Even though now, eyes are watching her, she knows she has to do something regardless, and she knows if she wanted to help Melanie, she needed to ask for help.
Help... She knows just the right person to ask and who would respond.
