If there was anything that Scarlet wanted at the moment, it was to be alone with no one around, watching her. While everyone except her kept eating, her hand gripped the fork and she could feel her hands shaking. She clenched her other hand on her thigh, under the table and she felt faint. Raising her eyes just a little bit, she saw her mother about to raise her eyes from the plate but before she would, she hit the glass of water beside her plate and it spilled all over her food. This had all of them direct their eyes on her, putting her on the spotlight and she stood up immediately, feigning embarrassment.
