Chapter 12 - CHAPTER 11: HARDWOK

The Industrial revolution continued to prosper in the heart of England. Vast machinery continued to emerge. Among these machinery was the RMS Titanic. The biggest ship of the 1900's. Everyday more and more people visit the ongoing work. Anticipation also rises as people all over England are dying to get reservations for the ship's maiden voyage. The Ship was truly remarkable.

The workers and laborers of the ship were also determined to finish the ship. Since the visitation of the Royal family they were treated with well functioning houses and care.

To add to this is the tremendous cash commission to be given to each worker once the ship would set sail. The ship filled to the brim with all high quality furniture and only the best quality wood for its interior.

Finest designers and architects from all over the world come to visit and offer their take on the ships designs.

Including the mechanism of the ship it was made sure to be high quality and performed best. The King and Queen directly supervising the works only ensured that the ship was the most remarkable one of all. The ship of all ships.

The RMS Titanic Under fast construction, everyone was on high gear with the vision of the higher ups to set sail this spring.

So in order to accomplish the task the higher ups ordered for fast and efficient construction of the RMS. Truly a new day of hard work came to the City.

Everyone in Liverpool was busy. Trains delivering supplies, cranes transporting resources and People banging their hammers against metals.

Caleb, Tristan and Nicollette wake up early in hopes of a fruitful day of labor. The three presented teamwork and friendship in every task they had. Assisting each for their benefits.

If one of them has a problem with a certain mechanism, the two others would come to him/her and help that person out.

Caleb was assigned to work on the engines, Tristan was assigned to work on the Turbines and Nicollette designation is in the organizing department

The tasks were distributed as: Engine section, Turbines section, Room section, Accommodation section, Painting section, Boiling section, Interior section, Exterior section and Food section. All in all, there are nine sections were everyone could be distributed.

Caleb approaching the Engine was bewildered on how massive the engines were. Frankly he did not know much about it.

Luckily Tristan is near him and an expert when regards to the new industrial world.

The difficulty of assembling gears we're always there. Thanks to Tristan's help accompanied by hard work and patience the first gear had been made.

The goal assigned to the engine section was to fully assemble two forged pistons each day. (The forged turbine created would then be assembled together to fully create one reciprocating engine for the ship.)

Tristan on the other hand is working on the Turbine section of the Ship. This portion involved lots of chemistry and mechanics

Tristan is designated to the station due to his great knowledge about chemistry and mechanics. The group was assigned to complete the Parson turbine of the ship.

Since this would need some professional authorization, they were guided by the leading supervisor of the ship. Engineer Mr Michael Swason.

Eng Michael is a leader that ensures everyone does their part. He was truly impressed with Tristan in his craftsmanship and being a team player.

Nicollette is assigned to cleaning the furniture inside the ship, as well as organizing and profiling the ship.

Her job was relatively simple but did not like the station assigned to her. She wanted to be on the lower deck together with his two friends.

Unfortunately, Nicollette had to deal with this, even though she was upset she did her work.

Upon seeing the high quality furniture she falls in love with such expensive items. She also makes sure to take care and clean each one for the benefit of the ship.

Even though life presents many challenges Nicollette does not steal. Integrity and Hard work were her most prized characteristics.

Continuously cleaning Nicollette noticed this oddly looking desk, it had lots of corroded parts on it. It had rust, and red cracks beneath its drawers.

The head of the cleaning section noticed this, approaching Nicollette she said. "Throw this piece of garbage away." The manager said in a disgusted manner.

The desk is too heavy for Nicollette to carry so she proceeded to ask Caleb for help in carrying the desk. Caleb and Nicollette carry the old corroded desk towards a hill where the garbage truck will pick it up.

Once they finished moving the corroded desk up the slope, Caleb went back to his station. Nicollette thanked him for his helpful attitude.

"Thank you for your assistance… Well I'll see you at lunch again."

Caleb replies "No worries, Nicollette… I gotta go now see you…"

Once Caleb left, Nicollette started to check the Desk drawers. Her curiosity got the best of her since the corrosions did not look like anything normal.

Opening the Desk, she notices a letter full of different figures and symbols she didn't understand

"What on Earth is this? It's filled with all these markings… This must have been from older years, these writings aren't normal…"

Nicollette took a good look at the paper. Unfortunately, she did not understand the language. Later on Nicollette went back to the apartment to meet up with the others.

The three then met up at the cafeteria of the apartment. Everyone is exhausted and tired. Nicollette Tristan and Caleb headed to the Cafeteria to start eating.

The food was in a buffet manner, luckily the lunch was sponsored. It was said that the prince had offered free lunch for all workers.

The lunch consists of many variants. Rice, potatoes and pasta were at the bases. Fried fish, fried chicken and fried pork were served as protein. vegetables were also on the table such as fresh carrots and Broccoli.

Overall, the lunch was extravagant, The appetite boost only encouraged the workers to perform better and work harder.

Nicollette's lunch consisted of three servings of vegetables, one fried chicken and three servings of pasta.

Caleb's lunch consisted of one fried pork, one serving of broccoli and four servings of pasta.

Lastly Tristan went more on protein. He got two servings of potatoes, two fried fish, one fried chicken and two servings of vegetables.

The three had their delicious lunches and continued to indulge in it.

Later on, while having their lunch Nicollette showed the two the piece of paper she found inside the corroded drawer. Tristan and Caleb looked at it closely but did not seem to understand any of it. Nicollette then explained to the two how she found it.

Caleb said "It looks like it came from aliens or something, maybe it was passed on from ancient times... I think you should just keep it for now. Maybe we will find someone who can read it…"

Tristan added "It looks very weird indeed. Maybe it's a code used by pirates... I don't know either... Wait... Is that, it is…"

Nicollette replied"Do you see something in the writing Tristan?"

Tristan continued saying "This is not just a stain, it's a blood stain, this must have been a death note…"

The three suddenly got goosebumps, they looked at each other. Nicollette took the paper away, but held on to it.

After the three finished their meals, Caleb excuses himself to go to the bathroom…
