As Klaus and Astrea began to wake up, they saw Roy fighting both Baron and the Guardian on his own. Klaus said, "Roy, I'm here to help."
Baron sneered, "So what if you've regained consciousness?" He then charged at Klaus.
Klaus retorted, "We won't lose to you," and punched Baron into a wall. Klaus thought to himself, "This meadow thing is helping me control my attributes better."
Baron, puzzled, asked, "How did you grow so much stronger?"
Klaus replied, "Now I can turn my magic power into kinetic energy. That's how I'm this much stronger."
Astrea started to wake up and attempted to pull a sword out of the ground. However, when he touched the grip of the sword, the holy sword burned his hand. Astrea thought to himself, "I thought this sword was my holy relic. Why is it burning my arm?"
Klaus greeted Astrea, saying, "Astrea, so you're finally up, huh?"
Astrea responded, "Yeah, I am."
Baron declared, "I am done holding back now. Curse magic, cursed existence."
Klaus, determined, used his absorption magic and kinetic fists to block the beam attack. Astrea thought to himself, "Klaus is giving it his all. I need to do that too."
As Klaus continued to fight Baron and Roy battled the Guardian, Roy said, "Astrea, go get the mausoleum."
The Guardian disagreed, saying, "No," and struck Astrea with a black beam attack. Astrea pondered, "What can I do now?" Suddenly, something inside him awakened, and he drew the blade Ascalon, cutting the black beam in two. After this, he felt tired and experienced immense pain. Falling to his knees, he wondered, "Why do I feel this way?" and coughed up blood.
Roy said, concerned, "Astrea, are you okay?" He thought, "That unknown holy relic that just chose Astrea must have some power. If we can land one clean hit from that sword, we can take down the Guardian."
