"My Lady Goddess once told me that the reason why she molded huli-jings was to prevent bad humans from reaching the River Lethe," Tuzi explained with further emphasis. "That means, you must know how to reach the River Lethe. Please show me how to get there."
YuXin gaped in surprise at the rabbit shifter. She was not expecting this request from her at all. How could she possibly know the location of the River Lethe?
The River Lethe is a mythical lore, told by nosy grandmothers from fairytale to fairytale. It is said that once a human dies, their soul would rush towards the River Lethe in desperation to get to their next life. Once one dives into the river, the memories of their past lives get washed away, and the soul is purified into their next life with a fresh start.
The river was not real. It is a setting of folklore legends.
Was this rabbit delusional?
