It's odd that it never occurred to him before. Women were raised to cook and clean beginning from a young age. And when they become teenagers, their parents start the process of interviewing men to marry their daughter. Women were then married off by their families, and they would have their own kids. Then the process would start over again.
While men had the option to go to school, become government officials, go fight wars, and become anything they aspire to be. Women were not allowed the same opportunities at all. As a matter of fact, it felt like women had to live from day to day under very strict societal rules. It wasn't a fair system at all. Feng was now seeing this.
"I think I understand what the Goddess was trying to accomplish," he acknowledged.
