Tuzi vowed then and there that she would tend to Mr. Chang for the rest of his life.
"Mr. Chang… I will make sure you only experience happiness from now on!" Tuzi declared to him, with all the sincerity brimming from her heart. "You will stay with me and Taiga. We will both take care of you!"
To which, Taiga nodded in approval and agreement. The elderly man was a true gentleman in a world of riff raff. He deserved a proper home in the twilight of his years.
Under Tuzi's care, he would want for nothing. She would ensure his remaining days were filled with joy, delicious food, good company, and laughter. He would always be surrounded by loved ones who cared for him and embraced him like family.
It was the least she could do, to repay the man for the limitless kindness that he had shown to Zhuyi and Feng.
And even though Taiga did not know his prior incarnation as Feng, Tuzi knew that he would've wanted that for Chang.
