"You mean, you don't plan on telling Collins Aiden about your pregnancy?" Evelyn Sherman was taken aback before her facial expression suddenly changed.
"Ella, have you thought this through? Being a single mother isn't an easy task, and besides, Aiden cares about you in his heart. It's his mother who wants you two apart, not him. Isn't it unfair to him if you keep such an important matter from him?"
"Tell him, and then what?" Ella Jackson caressed her still-flat belly, biting her lips.
"His mother won't accept me. Telling him would only put him in a difficult position. He won't abandon me, nor can he forsake his family. What if, the Aiden Family can't accept the child..."
Ella's palm tightened, full of cold sweat.
Sheldon Yale, as the grandfather, could lay hands on such an adorable child; what about her child, who was still just a fetus? How could she possibly contend with the Aiden Family?
Just the thought of such a possibility sent chills down Ella's spine.
