Daniel Cooper slightly raised his eyebrows, seemingly realizing that Edward White wasn't completely out of his mind and must have noticed something.
So he smiled and said, "Mr. White, how about this? Let the two doctors I brought with me stay. They are both professors of cardiology as well as being females, which would be convenient for taking care of Amelia and entirely reliable. I'll also leave a few bodyguards to make sure no outsiders get near the room and disturb your wife's rest."
Sophia Parker was about to say, "We have already brought our own doctors and bodyguards here, so there's no need to trouble Mr. Cooper," but before she could speak, Edward White said to Daniel Cooper, "Alright, then your people will have to put up with some trouble."
Sophia Parker, "..."
She faintly felt that something was wrong.
Amelia blinked her eyes, also feeling as if something was off.
