Amelia knew that Lana was hiding outside the door, so she purposefully spoke with laughter to the man who was serving her food, "Mr. Cooper, you said it's just a contract marriage, but it seems that Mrs. Cooper's feelings for you are not that simple? You didn't see it, the time she went to confront the mistress, Mrs. Cooper was so terrifying."
Daniel put some steamed fish into her small bowl and calmly said, "If you have something to say, just say it."
Amelia pouted, her tone sour, "It seems like Mrs. Cooper really loves you."
The man's face showed no emotion, "I just follow the agreement, anything else is none of my business."
He then filled another small bowl of soup for her and brought it to her lips, affectionately saying, "Drink some soup first, it's good for your stomach."
Amelia raised her eyebrows and glanced at the door, then took a sip from the man's hand while teasing him, "Mr. Cooper is so heartless, if Mrs. Cooper heard this, she'd be heartbroken."
