Anna Foster pretended to be annoyed and glared at her. "What do you mean by that? Can't I invite you to dinner for no reason at all?"
Amelia chuckled, "Of course! If a superstar like you invites me, even if it were a Trojan Horse, I wouldn't refuse."
After saying that, she stepped into the house, ignoring the frozen smile on Anna Foster's face.
Ruby Forest was irritated by Amelia's cutting remark but saw Anna Foster winking at her. Reluctantly, Ruby brought out a bowl of honey and lemon tea from the kitchen and handed it to Amelia. "Amelia, have a bowl of honey and lemon tea. You've been working hard and wearing a mask all day. Aunt Forest made this specially for you to nourish your lungs."
Amelia didn't reject her offer this time. She accepted the bowl and took a small sip with a spoon. "It tastes good, thank you, Aunt Forest."
