Lyra looked at the ingredients and meats laid out in front of her, struggling to decide.
Dylan approached her from behind: "Made up your mind yet?"
Hearing his voice so close to her ear, Lyra pushed him: "You're interrupting my thoughts."
With a hint of amusement in his voice, Dylan asked: "When did you learn to cook, Grace?"
Lyra figured he might not know her that well. After all, he didn't even know she had been in the country for so long, so she decided to lie to him: "When you get married, you must learn to be a good wife and mother. I used to spend a lot of time learning how to cook, and later found that cooking is quite simple, I was just too lazy."
She spoke seriously, making things up on the fly.
