Chapter 38 - 3.4

Farenia woke up in her bed alone, trying to remember what happened. She talked all day yesterday with Lantas, who so easily turned her head with his caresses and polite conversations. He seduced her effortlessly, and she, in a state of half-conscious weightlessness, invited him into her bedroom.

His passion was burning and clouded her mind, and she could not remember what happened next. After such a hot night, he simply left while she was sleeping. He treated her like a simpleton. Enjoyed and left her alone.

She was torn by frustration that this handsome man had treated her like that. What did she expect? That he would put her on a ship and speed off into the distance? Why didn't she listen to the Queen, because she warned? Did she want to pluck a star from the sky? Why did she choose this stranger when there are so many handsome men around?

She liked one of Lariel's lilac-eyed cousins, why did she allow herself to be seduced by this rogue? It was immediately clear that this was a one-night stand. You won't be able to hide your mistake; everyone can read minds. She have to pretend that nothing terrible happened and forget about this night misunderstanding. Let them think that the princess is frivolous, and they will expect less serious things from her.

Farenia jumped up and put on one of her beautiful dresses, twirling in front of the mirror. Life is still good! Immortality in a palace with a lovely wardrobe, no need to worry about food, lots of attention from men, and even magical abilities will appear later. Live and flutter like a butterfly!

"Hello, Farenia! How was the ball? Did you go out with someone yesterday? Is it your chosen one?" Selestra sympathetically tried to question the new princess when she met her in the garden.

"Yes, I was pleased to meet the guys, but I haven't chosen anyone yet," Farenia pretended to be happy with everything. "And it was just a fan!"

"So what, this stellar ladies' man didn't try to charm you?" Selestra was surprised.

"Why do you think he's from the ship?"

"He's white-winged, which means he's from a starship. And he dressed up like he was going on a date. They don't outfit like that here. Did he invite you to the ship with him?"

"No, I didn't invite you, we just talked."

Selestra looked at her suspiciously.

"Strange! I heard they are heartless womanizers, it is better not to mess with them. Our guys are more reliable, they don't dump."

"I don't want to start a relationship yet," Farenia waved it off. "Could you teach me magic?"

"I can't do much. I only have one superpower so far - to scream loudly," Selestra laughed. "We can go together and learn how to create from someone, if you want."

The princesses easily became friends and had fun in the company of creators and wizards. Guys were incredibly happy to communicate with the girls and gladly taught them magic, demanding attention and affection in return.

"How beautiful you are, Farenia!" Handsome Imarinis sighed languidly, grabbing her around the waist and pressing himself against her. "Tell me, who did you choose? Don't torment us with anticipation!"

"I did not decide yet!" The princess answered casually, pushing him away and dodging his annoying kisses.

"I know you like me," he said quietly, saddened. "Why don't you want to confess?"

Keleiro cast a suspicious glance at her, whispering something to his cousin Tolesio, who immediately asked:

"But you've already chosen someone, you can't fool us! I just don't understand who he is."

"It seemed to you!" Selestra angrily blurted out to them. "She told you - she didn't decide! Why are you pestering the new girl?"

"Darling, what a pity that you are also avoiding us," Imarinis wrapped his arms around Selestra. "We really need the affection of princesses. Why does Lariel get all the attention? It is rude!"

"I'll scream now if you don't leave me alone!" Selestra said threateningly.

Impressed by the magical lessons, Farenia had already begun to forget about Lantas, but one day he appeared before her while walking through the palace garden.

Dressed in a tight silver suit, he stood in front of her with a charming smile, spreading his white wings and dazzling with his splendor.

"Did you miss me?" He pierced the princess with his crystal blue eyes, not understanding why she did not throw herself into his arms.

"Why did you come?" Farenia lowered her eyes and prepared to walk past.

He grabbed her hand to stop her.

"I'm your chosen one! Our night was so passionate. What didn't you like?"

"You left, that's what I didn't like."

"I didn't want to wake you up, I have to get back to the ship urgently. I have a lot to do in my service, there are thousands of sailors under my command," Lantas justified himself.

"You'll fly away from our planet someday anyway, why have a relationship if we'll break up anyway," Farenia tried to free her hand. "For someone like you, one night is enough."

"What's wrong with you? You are a strange princess! And one night is not enough for me. I know that you are crazy about me. Why are you being stubborn and deceiving yourself?"

"Let go now!" Shouted someone.

Lariel appeared in front of them, glaring angrily at the officer. "What's going on here? She told you - let go."

"Why are you interfering? Who are you?" Lantas flashed his eyes with displeasure. "A-ah, are you the hermaphrodite! Mind your own business, we're talking."

"I will not tolerate violence in my home," Lariel frowned.

"There is no violence here. I am her chosen one and we are having mating games," Lantas let go of the girl's hand.

Lariel looked at Farenia in horror.

"Did you choose him? Why didn't you like our guys?"

"And also pregnant!" He muttered dissatisfiedly.

The princess looked at Lariel in fear. He cast a disapproving glance, turned sharply and left.

"Why did he say that I am pregnant?" Farenia stared at Lantas with incomprehension.

"That's right, all syrinxes can feel it."

"Why did you make me pregnant?" The princess was indignant. "You should warn me, I didn't want this at all..."

"What do you want?" Lantas said in an insinuating voice, capturing her in his arms.

"To be loved," she looked fascinated into his eyes, drowning in them.

"So don't run from love," he whispered and kissed her. "You also drive me crazy, so sensual and passionate... I haven't met anyone like you before. And I just... have to make you pregnant, and your destiny is to be the mother of the children of aristocrats. Didn't they tell you about this... Oh, gods! How your naivety turns me on."

He suddenly laughed, spread his wings and flew into the sky with her. She closed her eyes and squeaked in surprise, although she had been lucky enough to fly before.

He moved away from the city and landed in a fragrant flower meadow. Farenia laughed and ran forward from him, looking back and throwing plump buds of blue flowers at him. Lantas rushed to catch up with her, succumbing to the sudden surge of joy. She deftly dodged him, laughing, and he ran after her for a long time until they fell together, out of breath, into the soft grass. Delight and happiness overwhelmed them, and they, without holding back their feelings, indulged in love with all passion.
