Hana replied, "It's an exchange; we need her mechanical skills."
Alan chimed in. "Oh, that makes sense. Mirei's mechanical skills are among the best."
" If only she didn't stick to her outdated principles and use mana in her blueprints, she could be the best."
Just then, Mirei re-entered the room, hearing their conversation.
"I knew it. Someone's talking about me behind my back. You, baldy, say it again,"
Alan retorted, "What, baldy, you little loli cat? I've told you many times to just use mana in your work."
Mirei stood her ground, "No means no. Besides, are you all not satisfied with what I've built for you?"
"The implant I created is in no way inferior to those using mana."
Reina chimed in, "And that's exactly why Alan keeps bringing it up. He knows the results could be even better with mana."
