The sentence rang in Hana's mind many times over.
Her heart clenched as if a thousand needles were relentlessly puncturing it. Her tears flow freely down her cheeks.
Her body twitched, trying to pull away, but Gon held her tight, refusing to let go.
A whirlwind of questions starts to appear in Hana's mind. However, they quickly became a blur as the pain in her heart took over.
Overwhelmed by the rage and pain, Hana exploded. "Let me go, Gon!"
But Gon instead hugged her even tighter. "Please, Hana, let me explain further."
"Explain? What more is there to understand, Gon?'
"Why did you weave such beautiful lies, giving me promises to be 'your woman'?"
She tried forcefully to come out of his grip, her chest heaving with emotions. "How could you say all that when you already have someone else!?"
Hana's voice broke, a sob escaping her throat. "I never expected anything from you when I gave myself to you. Nothing at all!"
