Chapter 25 - Friends That Kill Together Stay Together -part 4

Lady Clarence

Today was the day he had looked forward to for a very long time. Today was the day that he got to take Derek down a peg or two, sure he had been punished for cheating and just like Curtis would be rusticated from school, but was still allowed to be in the school until the King arrived to deliver his own punishment. He could foresee the devastation that would befall both of them, for the peasant, his entire village would be razed with his people dying in it, while the righteous lord would be stripped of everything he had, however temporary it may be. The Prince already had his own death coming courtesy of the King while the Princess would watch her brother, her other half, die a gruesome and very certain death, or at least be tortured in perpetuity.

Dinner that night was a very lively one, everyone already excited for the fact that the King would be visiting and staying for a while with them. Emefiele was not very excited about the King coming, he simply looked forward to the cruelty that would befall Edward's murderers; he for one hoped that their punishments would be stiff and terrible.

Turning his eyes, he looked at the Murderous Five who did not bother to hide the fact that they were now a close knit of friends. Was it not cute that unlike other friends who were together simply because they liked spending time with one another, these twisted group of friends were united by murder. Oh he could not wait to see them all put down like the dogs they were.

"Do you know why all those guys are acting out of the ordinary?" Mustapha asked him as he bit into a chicken.

"No, why?"

"I believe that they must have seen a ghost or some evil spirit has gotten into their heads, I mean why else would a perfectly mentally stable Edward commit suicide the day he lost a fight to the Prince?" Mustapha asked.

"That's an interesting theory." Karim said as he sipped his wine. "But what I want to know right now, is whether you are going to go mad as well Emefiele."

"Why would I go mad like those five?"

"Because you left the hall as well? Sure no one mentioned your name specifically when asked who left the hall, but it does not change the fact that you did leave the hall. What did you see huh?"

"Nothing." He replied as he drank his wine, he could not tell them that the Gang of Murderers had killed Edward, his reputation and that of his family's would not survive such accusation, but those five did not need to know that, they had to live everyday of their lives afraid of what he could tell them to do next which would be to his pleasure and their pain. Sure they might have suspected that he could be Lady Clarence, but even the Prince was not dumb enough to think he could actually do it, not when there was a psychopath in Collins, the cold hearted friend they had in their midst.

As if they all knew the time Elswyth was supposed to obey her own instruction from Lady Clarence, the hall became slightly quiet. Lady Elswyth took in three slow breaths before she looked at the Princess who was visibly grinding her teeth and keeping a strong hold of the Prince's hands. The Prince did not look in anyway perturbed, but Derek and Curtis looked about ready to throw themselves off a cliff, their pain was so exciting for him to see; after all they had no idea the pain he had gone through while they were all high fiving themselves for a job well done. They had killed Edward and were walking around as if they had committed no crime, they deserved this.

Wearing a dark smirk, he watched as Elswyth got off her chair and cleared the table before her and then took to climbing it. "What now?" Collins asked in a disinterested voice as the girl stood on the table with a face that clearly told the entire student body that she was about to break down but had to do as she had been told.

Slowly, she began to strip. First her gown and then she began to get rid of her underwear as slowly as possible as if doing a free strip tease for every horny boy and girl in the hall. The whistles from the boys and the yells of disgust from the girls filled the room in no time. "That girl's gone crazy!" Adewale shouted in joy as he and many other horny guys openly leered at her like she was a piece of meat.

It didn't matter that the girl was in tears, all that mattered to them was that the girl of purity and innocence, the girl every boy wanted to fuck the most, second only to the Princess, was giving them a free show. Derek looked gutted, his sister had not just exposed her goods to everyone, but had destroyed their family name irreparably. Emefiele could already imagine the consequences of this action of hers, her family would disown her in a heartbeat, every female would alienate her from their group, they after all would not wish to be associated with a 'whore'

"Yes you slut, show us the goodies. Shake your ass and your tits, let's see them jiggle!" One overeager boy yelled from the back of the hall which elicited a huge laughter that filled the entire room. Now she was outright crying as they made fun of her; this was honestly working far more effectively than he would have possibly envisioned.

In a blink of an eye, Dominic exploded. He used his seat to break the jaw of one unprepared boy before burying a bread knife in the arm of another. He dodged a spell before using a tray to take the force of a flame spell, before throwing it to another boy. As Elswyth got down from the table, the Prince became a berserker. He went barreling through hordes of boys who had decided to fight the wayward Prince and hope to take the glory for putting him down, but they were surprisingly unsuccessful.

"My apologies" A servant said she bumped into him which caused his drink to spill.

"You imbecile!" He yelled in anger and smacked her hard. "Fill it up this instant" He said as he ground his teeth. Watching the Prince once more show how unstoppable he could be if he was in the mood, made him angry and it reminded him of why Edward died.

Once she had filled the drink, he gulped it down speedily before asking for three more cups that he downed in quick succession before turning to look at the Prince who was enjoying himself, having injured about fifteen boys and had another fifteen Saints keeping their distance from him and trying their best to take him on.

"ENOUGH!" Lady Amanda yelled as she barged into the room with the guards that filed into the room and apprehended the berserk Prince who had just slammed someone's head against the wall. "What madness is going on here?" She yelled in anger as the Prince was brought to heel with her powerful magic, superior to the Saints in the school by far, well only shadowed by the Princess. As they always said, a Saint grew more powerful the more they used their powers, but to be honest Lady Amanda was already ranked among the most powerful Saints in the land.

Her look of disappointment had no effect on the Prince who simply spat out blood and looked at the ground in anger. "You need to be re-educated before your father gets here, would not want you being a rabid dog when he arrives." She said and left the room with the guards dragging the Prince out the room.

To say he was on top of the world would be a gross understatement. The chaos was exciting but seeing them in pain, made his night. "As much as I enjoy this eventful night, I think I would like to turn in for the night." He said as he stood up and staggered a while.

"Sit your drunk ass down until we are ready to retire for the day." Karim said.

"Yeah, we would not want you to spend the night in the corridor now would we?" Mustapha asked with a smirk.

He sat down and thought about it for a moment, before he opposed their idea. "Sorry guys, I think I am going to risk it." He said with a smile and left them alone.

Staggering through the hallway, he couldn't help but wonder why he was so tipsy after a few drinks, it was almost as if he had been drugged.

Leaning on the wall to catch his breath he began to wonder if maybe that hit by the servant was planned. Had they planned to do this to him or was he just being paranoid? He had been so careful in hiding his tracks and ensuring they never suspected him, and other than last night when the two Royals stared at him, he had never really suspected a moment when they believed him to be Lady Clarence; this had to be a happy accident or just paranoia.

"I see you are feeling a bit under the weather Emefiele, or should we call you… Lady Clarence?" He heard the unmistakable voice of the Princess ask as she came out of the shadows with the three others, the Prince not present.

Looking around the hallway he found no one as witness, no guard was present and not even a servant in sight. Releasing a sigh, he glared at them, they had played him. That little stunt in the hall had ensured all the students were pretty excited to speak about the Prince's fate now while every guard was focused on punishing the prince for his actions. Everyone was either punishing the prince or discussing the very eventful night they had just had; they were all in all too busy to notice the absence of five Saints.

"You will not get away with this." He said as his fate became clear to him in his tipsy state.

"We? Dude, we are not doing anything to you other than watch you do a very bad thing to yourself because you were too drunk to go to your room safely." Curtis said in with a smirk.

"I am sure you had your fun watching us dance to your music, too bad you bit more than you could chew." Derek replied as he looked at him with the most condescending look he had ever seen a Saint give another.

As they spoke, they walked forward slowly, while he had to take a step back every time they moved forward. He was so drunk and dizzy that he had no idea how far back he had walked until his back was on the rails.

"Death is a mercy to you at this point, accept it with our deepest gratitude." Elswyth said in a broken voice as they kept approaching him, filling him with dread and making him sweat all over as the heat became too much.

The heat was too much now, and his body was not just wracked with sweat but with nerves as well, he was shaking not only because of the drug in the wine that gave him vertigo, but also because of fear; somehow his fear was heightened beyond its natural level and he could only accredit it to the drugs in his system. He must have taken so much of it, because the nausea accompanied with vertigo, heat and fear made him throw up on his feet.

"Atta boy." The Princess said in glee, as if she had been waiting for him to throw up, maybe to make their murder scene look like an accident.

"I will not give you the pleasure of killing me." He replied as the dizziness hit him hard and had him hold onto the rails with a death grip before he looked over the rail and flung himself off it.
