Despite being wealthy, Martha makes sure that she is helping her husband by checking their stocks, ordering items that are low in supplies and from time to time negotiate with businessmen who visit their warehouse.
With silver hair, blue eyes, and youthful looks;
her beauty is on another level thus most businessmen couldn't say no to her when negotiating, it's a good thing that Bennett inherited her features.
"Mother, can you help me with my training?' Bennett came rushing to his mom.
"What training, I thought that your father is helping you?" she asked.
"We have been doing swords only, I need to learn how I can use my Divine Arts" Bennett explained.
"Divine Arts is tricky, it depends on what kind of ability the spirit or God lends you" Martha said.
"But where do I start?" Bennett followed.
"For beginners, I suggest going to the nearest place where the God you are associated with has more control of" Martha explained.
"We had a temple before for Astrea, that's where I prayed and asked for her guidance" she continued.
"Do we have a Temple for Hades anywhere?" Bennett asked.
"No, there's none in this region but I'm sure he has a place where he has a strong influence" Martha answered.
Of course there isn't a temple for Hades, not after what the bastard Memphisto did as a Pirate King but after thinking real hard, Bennett had an idea.
"Of course, every area had that kind of place!" Bennet shouted before running away leaving Martha wondering what his son was thinking.
In his previous life, he never visited the graveyard not because he is afraid but simply because the place is too sad for him.
"Okay, I think this spot is good enough" he told himself after picking a spot where the sun couldn't reach him.
Bennett closed his eyes, cleared his thoughts, and whispered the words "Please, hear me Hades and help me be stronger" but nothing happened.
He repeated it over and over and over and over again, he removed any doubts whenever it was about to enter his thoughts.
"You need me?" a voice said.
"Yes, oh great Hades, I need your help" Bennett answered.
"Kekeke that's right, I am great" said the voice.
Bennett wondered if he was really talking to Hades, the voice was oddly small and he sounded different from the Hades he talked to.
"Who are you?" asked Bennett.
"I'm Toma the great kekeke" the voice answered.
The smoke that's covering the creature is slowly vanishing in his mind and Bennett could see something, a small creature with horns and a long nose about eight inches tall.
"What the hell are you, I'm looking for Hades not a dwarf!" Bennett shouted in his thoughts.
"A dwarf, how dare you! I am a Pygmies, we are born warriors and we dedicated our lives to fighting until we die!" Toma angrily answered.
Toma wasn't lying, Pygmies are indeed in constant war thousands of years ago after cranes flocked to their homeland. They had to fight for their dear lives because the cranes thought that they were mice.
"I am calling for Hades, no disrespect but I need his abilities so I could fight better" Bennett said.
"You can't connect with Hades yet, it takes a lot of SP or mana to connect with him let alone use his abilities" the little Pygmies answered.
Bennett noticed that his SP bar is only at fifty and connecting with Pygmies already used thirty SP.
"I see, if that's the case why did I get connected with you?" Bennett asked.
"Because I am in the underworld as well, connecting with Hades can connect you with any of us if your SP is not strong enough" Toma explained.
"Think of it as dialing the wrong number" it continued.
"I see, I see. Does that mean that I can get help from you since I can connect with you?" Bennett asked.
"Yes but after you insulted me-"
"Oh great Pygmies, Toma, my apologies for not knowing that you are a legendary creature" Bennett interrupted in hopes that he could still get help.
"Dumb human, I'm not gonna fall for that but since you are weak, let me help you" Toma blushed, he obviously fell for it after hearing the word "Great".
"Good thing that small creatures usually have a big ego hehe" Bennett told himself.
"Ahm, I can hear your thoughts remember?" Toma annoyingly interrupted.
"Ah, out of curiosity, since you are in the underworld. How did you die and why are you there?" Bennett changed the topic.
"Well, the first reason is because our Queen said that she is more beautiful than Hera which pissed the Gods off and doomed our clan"
"Then I died fighting against Hercules" Toma continued.
"Whoah, you fought against Hercules?" Bennett asked.
"Yup, it was a closed fight but he killed me" Toma arrogantly answered.
Both stories are true and even recorded in Greek history, however, the fight against Hercules was a bit overly painted.
Truth is, Hercules killed Antheus then the Pygmies clan declared vengeance against Hercules because to them Antheus was like a brother. Hundreds of Pygmies attacked Hercules while he was sleeping but the little creatures that are about 3 inches to 8 inches tall were no match for the sleeping Hercules.
Toma died after Hercules changed his sleeping position and he suffocated under Hercules.
"Are you ready to receive my ability?" Toma asked.
"Yup, I'm ready!" Bennett answered.
Almost immediately, Toma vanished but Bennett could feel that the soul of the creature is now inside of him
*Ability acquired - Haste*
Bennett opened his skills tab and saw the details:
*SP 20, Speed increases by 30% for 20 seconds*
"Oh, not bad little creature" Bennett thought.
"I can use this against my father when we spar later" he laughingly thought.
