Their story began in a club. The flashing lights and loud music created an adrenaline filled atmosphere and in the midst of that atmosphere, a man sat in an armchair in the VIP section, legs spread slightly open looking extremely comfortable as though he was in his own home. He was dressed in a formal white shirt buttoned to the second button, light blue jeans and a pair of shiny black shoes. A gold wristwatch sat on his left hand and he held a champagne glass, ⅓ filled with champagne, accentuating his wealthy look.
He had a slight frown between his perfect brows in concentration as he seemed to inspect the champagne in the glass in his hand.
His black fell around his facing, only stopping at his neck, contrasting drastically with his pale skin and red lips, making him look exceptionally handsome. He seemed oblivious to the loud music booming from the speakers somewhere in the room and his seat allowed him to avoid seeing the commotion of jumping and drunken bodies fistpumping and headbanging to the music.
He was definitely out of place in this environment and his illusion of a strange sort of peace within chaos was shattered by a voice calling his name, announcing the arrival of two men, "Anton!".
Anton looked around, trying to locate the owner of the voice. The man who called him was dressed very casually in a blue shirt, black jeans, black sneakers and an excited smile on his face. The man in blue had the hair on the sides of his head shaved only a little and the thicker hair at the top of his hair was tied in a ponytail. He was heading in Anton's direction with another man in tow.
The other man beside him was dressed head to toe in black. Black button up shirt, black skinny jeans, black sneakers and a black ring on his left index finger. The only other colours on him were a silver wristwatch, and a matching silver ring on his right index finger.
Anton saw him the moment he turned his head in that direction of the voice.
"Caleb!" Anton exclaimed in recognition, standing up to shake the man in the blue shirt.
"I'm glad you could come. It's been really long since we had an outing." Caleb shouted, trying to make sure he could be heard over the booming music.
"I'm so sorry about that. I've been so occupied with the company. I would make more time from now on." Anton smiled apologetically.
"Nah, man. Take your time. Whenever you're free, just let me know, we'll hang out like we used to."
"I'll definitely take you up on that offer, Caleb."
"I see you haven't lost your formal way of speaking." Caleb pointed out, shaking his head in amusement. Anton only gave him a sheepish smile in return before his eyes strayed to the man beside Caleb. The other man however, looked bored and uninterested as he looked around him, waiting for the Caleb to introduce him.
Caleb followed Anton's gaze to the other man and looked as though he only just remembered he was there as well, then placed an arm around the man's shoulders, turning to Anton. "Hey Anton, this is my friend from high school, Xander." Then he turned his attention to Xander, " Xander, this is my friend from university, Anton."
Anton smiled politely, offering a hand for a handshake. Xander looked at him for a while with a weird look, before finally taking Anton's hand and shaking it firmly.
"It's nice to meet you." Anton said. Xander nodded, not giving any other response.
Anton smiled wider then turned to offer them the seats beside his. "Please have a seat."
Caleb chuckled to himself, before walking over and sitting on the sofa closest to Anton, while Xander sat on the sofa beside Caleb. The three extremely good looking men drew the eyes and attention of many around, but no one approached because of the bodyguards at the entrance of their section.

Five bottles each of champagne and wine lay strewn on the table in front of them. Caleb had long ago gotten drunk and rested his head on Anton's shoulder, fast asleep. He woke up at intervals when the music was a little too loud to say "Casey, turn it down a bit!" only for him to go back to sleep. Anton didn't look bothered at all by Caleb's behaviour, neither did he look even a little drunk. Xander on the other hand was a little drunk. Conscious enough to give bewildered and bothered looks whenever Caleb woke up and exclaimed, but drunk enough for his eyes to be unfocused. They looked like a comical trio.
Anton smiled and shook his head a bit at the sight the two made, then decisively stood up, pulling Caleb who was much taller than he was and rested Caleb's arm on his own shoulder, supporting his body with his side. He turned to Xander, scrutinizing his disposition to verify whether or not he would understand whatever he was about to say to him. When he seemed satisfied with what he saw, he spoke. "Sit here, don't go anywhere. I'm going to put Caleb in my car. Ok? I'll be back soon."
Xander narrowed his eyes at him, looking annoyed at being commanded then looked away and nodded when he didn't see anything wrong with the logic. Anton smiled at him, happy with his compliance and turned around dragging the barely conscious Caleb out with him.
Xander watched them leave till they had left his field of vision, then sighed and rested his head against the back of the sofa, staring at the ceiling, but his eyes remained unfocused. He closed his eyes, whispering to himself, "Why does he have to be handsome?"
*
Anton rested Xander's body against himself as he dragged him out of the club. Xander's build was only about an inch taller and a bit bigger than Anton's. Anton brought him out and pulled him into the backseat beside Caleb. Xander didn't protest at all.
Anton sat at the passenger's seat beside the hired driver. "Where would you like to go." The driver asked.
"I already put the address before you came, you only need to follow the instructions."
"Thank you." The driver said. Anton only smiled.

After dropping Caleb off, Anton brought Xander to his house. Xander had slept off during the ride however. Anton thanked and paid the hired driver.
He then dragged Xander into a guest room, taking off his shoes and placing them beside the bed and unbuttoning Xander's shirt. He covered Xander's sleeping form with a blanket and turned on the AC, turning off the lights and leaving the room.

Anton walked into the guestroom the next morning, stopping in his steps at the sight of the empty bed. He spied a note on the table and walked over, picking it up. It read:
'Anton,
Thank you for your hospitality, but you should have dropped me off at Caleb's house. I'm friends with him, not you. This was a rather awkward experience, I'm hoping we wouldn't have to meet under such embarrassing circumstances again.
Xander.'
Anton chuckled at the content of the note. "What an interesting friend you have, Caleb." He said to himself.
