Yamahiko had never felt so anxious before; his inner thoughts were filled with worries about what might happen next. Even the sword in his hand seemed powerless.

Yamahiko was knocked down to the ground by Suì-Fēng and lay there, unable to get up.

"What's happen to you?" Suì-Fēng walked up to Yamahiko looking down at his face and coldly asked.

Yamahiko looked at Szayelaporro, shook his head, and said, "Captain, it's nothing."

"Nothing?" Suì-Fēng said coldly, "Distracted attention, weakened power, disordered footwork, and your techniques are all without form. You're not putting any effort into this."

Yamahiko remained silent and didn't respond. Suì-Fēng waved his hand and said, "Forget it, let's end it here today. Go back, and when you come back here on Friday, I hope you won't be like this."

Yamahiko nodded, stood up, picked up his Zanpakuto, and headed towards the office.

Once inside the office, Yamahiko placed his Zanpakuto on the desk, his face tense.

Another six months had passed, and Yamahiko's progress in strength was somewhat weak, but that wasn't what worried him.

What worried Yamahiko was his friends: Renji Abarai, Momo Hinamori, and Izuru Kira.

Six months ago, they had moved up to their fourth year, received their Zanpakuto, and started learning about Soul Burial(Konsō). Now, they were in the second half of their fourth year, and today was the day they were going for their practical training in Human World.

Yamahiko knew that this Soul Burial would be led by Shūhei Hisagi and two sixth-year students. During this journey to the Human World, they would face attacks from powerful Hollows, and they wouldn't be just a few.

This attack had been orchestrated by Sōsuke Aizen, and it would claim the lives of many trainees, even the sixth-years would have a hard time escaping.

Renji Abarai, Momo Hinamori, and Izuru Kira would assist Shūhei Hisagi in battling the Hollows, helping other teammates to escape. At the same time, Aizen would bring Gin Ichimaru to the Human world to rescue them.

But would they be saved in time?

Yamahiko had altered history, changed the trajectories of everyone's lives, and their relationships had become different from what history had dictated.

Would these differences lead to their demise?

Yamahiko had been closely monitoring their training through the Patrol Corps, and upon receiving the news today, he had fallen into worry.

He couldn't accompany them to the Human world, nor could he stop Aizen's conspiracy, so all he could do was pray in secret.

Yamahiko sat patiently in his office, waiting. After a while, the door was pushed open, and a member of the Patrol Corps entered the room.

Yamahiko immediately stood up and asked, "How's the situation?"

The Patrol Corps member replied, "Lord Yamahiko, the students who went for Human-world training encountered a massive Hollow attack, and there were many casualties. However, Captain Aizen of the 5th Division, along with Vice-Captain Gin Ichimaru, rushed to the real world and rescued them."

Yamahiko quickly asked, "What about the three individuals you were monitoring?"

The response came, "They suffered minor injuries, but they're not in any serious danger. They're currently receiving treatment at the Fourth Division."

"That's a relief."

Yamahiko sat back down in his chair and waved his hand, saying, "Thank you. You may leave."

After the Patrol Corps member left, Yamahiko let out a sigh of relief. As long as they were okay.

What Yamahiko feared the most was his involvement, the changes he had made in history that put them in danger.

But at that moment, a voice spoke up, "So, you were worried about your friends, that's why you seemed so lost."

Yamahiko heard the voice and turned to see someone in the room. It was Captain Suì-Fēng.

"Captain Suì-Fēng? What are you doing here?" Yamahiko looked surprised.

Suì-Fēng walked up to Yamahiko and said, "I followed you because I was worried about you. I heard the report from the patrol member just now, and that's when I learned what happened."

Yamahiko lowered his head and said, "Yes, today was the day they went for their training, and I was quite worried about them."

Yamahiko didn't dare to look at Suì-Fēng. He worried about them, and they were attacked by massive Hollows. Would this raise suspicion from Captain Suì-Fēng?

Suì-Fēng turned his head to look at Yamahiko, sighed, and said, "I understand why you're worried about them."

Yamahiko lifted his head and looked at Suì-Fēng.

The latter said calmly, "Two years ago, when you were still in your fourth year and went for your internship, your friends in the same group were killed by Hollows. It's normal for you to worry about your friends."

Yamahiko hadn't expected Suì-Fēng to say this. He nodded and added, "That time when Ryoji Sanada was killed... made me worry about the same thing."

Suì-Fēng walked up to Yamahiko, looked into his eyes, and said, "You must believe in your comrades and, more importantly, in the Soul Society."

Yamahiko scratched his head. How could he believe in them when the power of the massive Hollows was second only to Gillian-class Menos? Even he could only handle one with certainty.

What was more important was the manipulator behind the massive Hollows, someone terrifying who had the entire Soul Society in their grasp.

Suì-Fēng continued, "To become a Shinigami, you must be prepared to fight to the death. You must respect the belief of everyone who becomes a Shinigami."

Upon hearing this, something inexplicable swirled in Yamahiko's mind but vanished in an instant.

Before he could ponder it, Suì-Fēng patted Yamahiko's shoulder and said, "If you're worried, you can go check on them."

Leaving this statement behind, Suì-Fēng walked to the door and exited.

Soon after, Yamahiko rushed out of the barracks and arrived at the Fourth Division. Once inside, he started searching for Renji Abarai, Momo Hinamori, and Izuru Kira.

Yamahiko dashed through the treatment rooms one by one, but he couldn't find Renji and others. Growing increasingly anxious, a voice spoke up beside him, "Who are you looking for?"

The voice was soft, and when Yamahiko turned, he saw a dignified woman with gentle features, long black hair fashioned into twisted braids that hung in front of her.

Yamahiko recognized her immediately. "Captain Unohana."

The person in front of him was Retsu Unohana, the captain of the Fourth Division's Medical Team and the first Kenpachi.

Thinking about how she had been killed by Kenpachi Zaraki to release the real Kenpachi and his true potential, Yamahiko felt a pang of sadness.

More importantly, after Kenpachi Zaraki had been unsealed, he had defeated his first opponent using Shikai.

Captain Unohana, with her gentle demeanor, asked, "I can see you're in a hurry. Who are you looking for?"

Yamahiko quickly replied, "I'm looking for my friends. They were the students who went for human-world training and were attacked by Hollows."

Captain Unohana nodded, called over a registration officer, and asked, "What are their names?"

Yamahiko, looking anxious, responded, "Renji Abarai, Momo Hinamori, and Izuru Kira."

After checking, the registration officer said, "They have minor injuries and are waiting in the waiting room."

Captain Unohana smiled and pointed to a room across from them, saying, "The waiting room is over there."

"Thank you, Captain Unohana."

Yamahiko saluted Captain Unohana and then hurried towards the waiting room.

However, Captain Unohana stopped him by calling out, "Your name?"

Yamahiko turned back and said, "I'm Yamahiko."

Leaving these words behind, Yamahiko left the room. Captain Unohana nodded and thought, "So, it's him."

Yamahiko was a rare prodigy from the Shin'ō Academy, and as a member of the Second Division, most captains had heard of him when monitoring new students, Captain Unohana included.

"However, why did his gaze towards me seem so full of pity and regret?"

Captain Unohana's eyes were filled with puzzlement.
