Chapter 14 - Sword Master (1)

Ryujin paused his training, using both techniques, when he noticed someone approaching. It turned out to be Master Xiao Mihwa, returning from a meeting with the Sect Master.

"Ryujin," Master Xiao Mihwa called out to Ryujin.

"Yes, Master," Ryujin responded as he sheathed his sword. He was genuinely pleased to see Master Xiao Mihwa. Her voice was soothing and beautiful, and her appearance was as lovely as a goddess.

"Ryujin, I'm proud of you for defending your senior sister," Master Xiao Mihwa said, placing a hand on Ryujin's shoulder.

These words seemed to be a trigger for Ryujin, and tears welled up unexpectedly in his eyes.

"Sniff! Sniff! Thank you, Master. Even my parents never said those words," Ryujin uttered while wiping away tears that trickled from beneath his blindfold.

"Don't cry. A man should be strong," she noticed his vulnerability and embraced him, understanding that even a man could be deeply affected and hurt.

*Hug*

As Ryujin was enveloped in Master Xiao Mihwa's comforting embrace, he was surrounded by her soothing fragrance. However, despite the physical closeness, the hug couldn't fully mend his wounded heart. The moment he was hugged, his tears ceased to flow abruptly. He had genuinely been sad and cried earlier, but now, being in her arms, his tears subsided instantly.

"I wasn't faking the tears, so where did my tears go?" Ryujin thought, his mind a mix of emotions while he remained in Master Xiao Mihwa's embrace. "Should I stay like this for a few more minutes?" he pondered, torn between the comfort he was feeling and the need to not appear inappropriate or enjoying someone's pity.

Ryujin gradually eased out of the embrace, giving Master Xiao Mihwa a grateful smile. "Thank you, Master. Your kindness means a lot to me."

Master Xiao Mihwa returned the smile, her eyes reflecting a sense of understanding. "Ryujin, remember that it's okay to show your emotions. Strength isn't just about suppressing tears; it's about facing them as well."

Ryujin nodded, appreciating her wisdom. He then mustered up the courage to approach his master about learning a new technique to gain more Attribute points.

"Um... Master," Ryujin began hesitantly, standing before Xiao Mihwa.

"Yes, my youngest disciple?" Master Xiao Mihwa looked at Ryujin with a gentle smile, noticing his demeanor.

"Um, can you teach me another technique? I've already mastered both the techniques you've taught me," Ryujin inquired, his cheeks slightly flushed.

"So, you've already mastered both of them? Very well. Give me your forehead, and I'll transfer another technique to you," Master Xiao Mihwa said, her tone reassuring as she sensed Ryujin's eagerness to learn.

yujin approached and bowed his head as he received the three new techniques from Master Xiao Mihwa. The techniques included a movement technique, an ultimate sword technique, and a cultivation technique. He listened attentively as his master explained their significance.

"Ryujin, the Wind Step is a movement technique suitable for mortals. However, the other techniques require you to be a cultivator with Qi. You have a choice: either learn them now without cultivation while we work on changing your physique and cultivation vein, or cultivate now and later evolve your vein," Master Xiao Mihwa explained.

Curious and a bit puzzled, Ryujin asked, "What's the difference, Master?"

"Both options have their distinctions. Changing your physique will grant you a new physique and cultivation vein, but it comes with pain. Evolving your cultivation vein, on the other hand, won't change your physique but will provide a new vein, and it's less painful than changing your physique tier," she replied.

"I understand," Ryujin nodded, processing the information.

Master Xiao Mihwa continued, "It's your choice. Evolving only the cultivation vein will hinder your progression to higher realms. Choosing to change both your cultivation and physique will lead to a higher overall tier. For instance, if you start with an Earth cultivation vein, evolving it can give you a chance to reach the Heaven tier."

So Master, I can't use the Cultivating tecqhniue now ?

"No, you can use the Cultivation technique now. However, later on, you'll need to make a choice between abandoning your current cultivation to change your cultivation vein, or keeping your cultivation and evolving your cultivation vein. Many people ultimately opt to keep their existing cultivation and evolve their cultivation vein, as they are reluctant to lose their power and start over from the beginning," answered his master, explaining the concept of cultivation.

"Thank you for explaining, Master. I'll wait to change my cultivation vein. And for the sword technique, I'll work on mastering it and test it when I have enough Qi. As for the cultivation technique, I will try it later after mastering the other techniques," Ryujin stated.

Master Xiao Mihwa smiled and nodded, knowing that Ryujin's decision was wise. She wanted to tell him about the dangers of changing cultivation veins, but she couldn't bring herself to reveal that information. She returned to her place and instructed Ryujin to practice.

"Very well, go and practice. I'll return to my room for meditation."

Ryujin offered to lead her back, and she agreed. Despite being blind, his mastery of Enhanced Sense made it easy for him to guide her. He held her hand gently, feeling a sense of happiness from the physical contact. He hadn't expected her to accept his offer, and his heart raced, although his expression remained composed.

As they walked back to her room, Ryujin couldn't help but think, "My hand isn't sweating too much, right?" His mind was racing, and his emotions were a mix of excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to accompany his master. "Who doesn't want to accompany a beautiful and gorgeous woman like master? If Master were living on Earth, there's no doubt she would be the most stunning Model," Ryujin exclaimed in his thoughts.

In the silence, Ryujin escorted his master to her room without saying much, fearing that his words might disturb her. Upon reaching the room, they parted ways, and Ryujin paid his respects to her.

"Thank you, my youngest disciple," his master said.

"It's my duty to accompany you, Master. I'll return to my practice now," Ryujin replied.

"Very well. Once you've mastered the techniques, you can find me here."

"Thank you, Master," Ryujin expressed his gratitude and offered a respectful gesture before turning to head back to the front yard of the house.

Xiao Mihwa walked and sat down in a lotus pose behind the curtain, ready to begin her meditation session. while meditation She smilling and found if his youngest Disciple is Cute.
