Chapter 50
The news was rife with turmoil. Riots broke out in a few towns. To be precise the towns were in the hotspots for the upcoming raids. Yet, no raid began. The planning of the raid at least by Celeste was taking forever. The longer it took to gather and move troops the more likely it was for a strike back to happen. At this point Zarracen didn't think waiting any longer was an option.
She mentioned this of course to Princess Isabella but the woman simply shrugged. She advised that she was aware that stalling like this was a negative. A raid should be swift, decisive and powerful. What Celeste was doing was the opposite. However, Isabella simply told her she could only advise. Whether or not Isabella actually did advise Celeste or not mattered little as the troops were still gathering. Because of this, Zarracen was having a hard time sitting still.
