Minutes earlier...
King Wapol arrived at Dr. Kureha's hidden tree house while riding a hairy white hippo. Behind him are the soldiers of Drum Kingdom, ready to eliminate the said doctor.
"Maahahaha! I know you are there, thieving witch! Show yourself up and face your death!" King Wapol shouted with vigor. Today, he's making sure this sneaky menace of his kingdom shall perish under his own hands.
At the upper floor, Dr. Kureha stared outside the window as she sighed. She was annoyed by the unending pursuit of the soldiers these past few months. Sometimes, she thought of giving up after passing down her legacy to Chopper and live on to another place, far away from this dying kingdom.
However, due to Hiriluk's dream to heal the kingdom's idiotic monarchy, she has no choice but to keep on guiding Chopper to be a skilled doctor and help the people in need.
Hiriluk was a fake doctor that adopted Chopper, a raindeer that gained human intelligence by eating a Devil Fruit.
Dr. Kureha was about to take Chopper away and find a new place around the kingdom to call home when she noticed the raindeer wasn't on her side. It didn't take long for her to find him since the little raindeer was facing King Wapol and the soldiers at their front door.
"This foolish brat!"
She muttered angrily as she hastily went down to fetch him. She knew Chopper was a kind hearted raindeer, never resort to any violence when not necessary.
Chopper will definitely protect his home while being bombarded to death by those soldiers.
"Chopper! Get back in here!" Kureha shouted.
"Oh! Men! Ready your weapons! Kill that doctor on sight! Maahaha! Aahahaha!!" King Wapol excitedly issued a command. He found that little deer familiar but he can't recall seeing one before. Still, the opportunity presents before him. That damn thieving doctor shall die the moment she exits the house.
"Wapol-sama, I recognized this red hat raindeer! It's that quack doctor's adopted monster!" Chess, King Wapol's trusted Officer exclaimed.
"Right! That was the monster that Dalton protected six years ago when quack doctor Hiriluk blown himself up with a bomb in front of the castle!" Kuromarimo, also King Wapol's trusted Officer added.
"Hm? That monster back then?" King Wapol's eyes narrowed as he glared at Chopper.
"Kill him too! Destroy this monster now!"
He ordered while his hand transformed into a cannon and he fired without hesitation.
BOOM!! BOOM!! BANG! BANG!
Chopper's expression changed when hundreds of bullets and cannon balls flashing towards him and the house from every direction. His expression turned to worse when he saw Kureha just opened the door. At the nick of time, he swallowed a yellow pill.
"Rumbl-"
BOOM!!
The tree house got destroyed after the explosion, leaving the unknown condition of Chopper and Dr. Kureha.
"Maahahaha! I never thought it would be this easy to kill these rats! Aahahaha! I finally eliminated the last hindrance in my kingdom!" King Wapol started to celebrate with his officers after the deed.
Soldiers just stayed silent while watching the rubble with complicated emotions. In fact, none of them dared to form a rebel group to abdicate their king. The king and his subordinates are just too strong for any of them combined. They will be in the losing end while more people will just suffer and die.
RUMBLE!! BOOM!!
"UWAH!!"
A few soldiers got blown away by a strike of thunder. Even King Wapol and his Officers stopped their celebration and also got surprised by the sudden explosion.
"A thunder? Since when did our kingdom produced one?" King Wapol was flabbergasted but he didn't mind since he wasn't struck by the thunder.
Many soldiers thought it was some kind of retribution from what their King did to the kingdom for years.
"Look! There's a lady in there!" Chess pointed at Nami who dusted herself from the snow.
Nami ignored the crowd as she inspected the tree house that now turned into rubble. Her eyes then narrowed at the group surrounding her.
"Who are you?! What are you doing here?!" King Wapol aggressively interrogated Nami as if she's some kind of criminal.
"Could it be she's that witch' daughter?" Kuromarimo wondered out loud. Why would a young woman appeared to such a desolate area? Unless she's really connected to the witch and the monster.
"Can't be, right? That witch is 139 years old and she has a daughter? With whom? With that quack doctor? Hahaha!" Chess mocked with disdain as he laughed out loud.
King Wapol and Kuromarimo also laughed out loud as if they heard the most funniest joke in the world.
Nami noticed that the soldiers didn't laugh along with their King and Officers. She somehow understood the situation.
After thinking for a bit, her eyes shone with mischief. Since she's dealing with a King, then he must be wealthy.
King Wapol saw that Nami walked towards him. He then got down from his ride and examined the young woman.
"You are a fine young lady. It's decided! I want you to be my personal maid! Maahahaha!!" He announced unceremoniously.
Nami arrived in front of King Wapol as she stared at him straight in the face.
"Kneel down before your king!" Kuromarimo shouted a command to Nami.
"You must praise the king for giving you such grace, lowly woman!" Chess also issued a command.
"Maahahaha! This young woman look fiesty! I'll be sure to train her everyday myself!" King Wapol enjoyed the praises of his trusted officers as he stared down at Nami.
"A mere king sure is boastful in front of me." Nami smirked as she stared mockingly at King Wapol.
Chopper came out from the rubble carrying Dr. Kureha. He wasn't that much injured, maybe a few bullets scraped his back since he burrow a hole to hide in time while shielding the doctor. However, the tree house totally destroyed by the combined assault of the soldiers and King Wapol himself.
Soon, Chopper noticed Nami in front of King Wapol. He was puzzled at the current situation.
Dr. Kureha dusted herself from the snow and dust. She frowned upon knowing the vibe in the surroundings were different.
"A mere king..?" King Wapol's expression turned into savage after hearing the insult. Not even Kings from other kingdoms dared to mock him face to face like this.
"How dare you insult our king!" Kuromarimo arrived beside Nami as he prepared to slap her.
CRACKLE!!
Without any suspense, Kuromarimo dropped to the ground after being roasted to death by the lightning.
"What..! What happened?!" King Wapol took a step back in fear after seeing one of his trusted Officers got enveloped by lightning and died.
"It must be you, damnable bitch!" He pointed at Nami with widened eyes in horror.
"Shoot her! Kill her now!!" He then immediately issued a command to all of the soldiers.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
The soldiers woke up from their reverie as they fired at Nami without stopping.
"Watch out!" Chopper exclaimed to warn Nami, but his voice failed to reach the latter since it was already too late.
Nami's body was riddled with holes while thousands of bullets pierced through her without resistance.
Meanwhile, Nami just stared at King Wapol with indifference. She didn't feel anything at all. It was as if her body was made out of air. It felt weird not getting hurt by these bullets but also exciting like she's a God herself, staring at the futile efforts of mortals for trying on killing her.
"You..! Who are you!" King Wapol finally realized that Nami wasn't affected from the raining bullets. Her body just restored after a bullet passed through her body. It was as if they were hitting a smoke or an illusion.
"Me? I am a pirate." Nami smiled sweetly and she pointed a finger at Chess.
CRACKLE!!
Chess felt a lightning passed through his body and he got electrocuted before dropping on the snow, dead.
The soldiers also got horrified at the scene. Two of their Drum Kingdom's Officers died as if they're just chickens being slaughtered mercilessly.
"Die! Die you bitch!" King Wapol formed a cannon in his hand and pointed at Nami.
BOOM!!
Nami's upper body got destroyed as her remaining half just stood in silence.
King Wapol heaved a sigh when knowing he had dealt with the strange woman. He was truly afraid by the situation. Who would expect his trusted aid would die in such a gruesome way?
"No..." Chopper muttered in silence after he saw the ending fate of Nami. He clenched his fist so hard as he slowly walked towards King Wapol to retaliate. He suddenly paused his steps when he saw Nami's lower half started to glow.
Nami rebuilt her body using the lightning particles that spread all over her surroundings.
After she finished building her body, her eyes shone in delight. Even if she had a blown up body, she's still able to regenerate like normal. With a fascinating Devil Fruit ability, very few can dealt with her except those Haki users and Sea Stones that Luke mentioned.
"How are you not dead?!" King Wapol shouted in horror. He clearly saw his cannon ball hit Nami and it even exploded. This phenomenon was out of his knowledge at all when he saw the young woman looked good as new after rebuilding her body.
"You really are ruthless as I heard. I hope you have plenty of money as compensation for hurting me with your cannon." Nami smiled cheerfully as if she just won a business deal.
"What do you mean?! I am a King! If you're messing with me, you are messing with the World Government!" King Wapol tried to put a tough front.
"Your words meant nothing to me. I'm a pirate, remember? You better pay up or I'll start roasting everyone here starting with you." Nami raised her hand and lightning sparks danced around it.
"I'll pay! I'll pay no matter how much you want!" King Wapol kneeled on the snowy ground in submission. His face bowed, but his eyes darted in every corner as if he's thinking on how to get away with this situation.
"Tie yourselves up and wait to the side after I finish my business here! Or you all want to taste my roasting session?" Nami smirked at the soldiers in the surroundings.
The soldiers got terrified and threw their weapons on the ground. They then hastily did what their told.
Nami then approached Chopper and Dr. Kureha after dealing with the men.
Meanwhile, Chopper had sparks in his eyes as if he became a die hard fan of Nami.
"Are you really a pirate in the sea?"
