Chapter 18 - Chapter 18: Cultivation of Magical Tools

I've decided to look into the new skill, "Magical Tool Cultivation."

I conducted research, incorporating appraisal, to understand the nature of this skill. The results were...

I currently possess the skill "Magical Tool Cultivation Level 1." The highest level appears to be 10.

With "Magical Tool Cultivation Level 1," I can only cultivate one magical tool at a time among the tools I'm wearing. This means that if I choose to cultivate the left arm's bracelet, I won't be able to cultivate the right arm's bracelet or any of the rings I'm wearing.

Items such as bags, boxes, and tents that can't be worn cannot be selected for cultivation. This skill is limited to "worn" magical tools.

As the level increases, it seems I'll have more flexibility. Additionally, at the current level, I can only cultivate one function per magical tool. The more I use the functions of a magical tool I'm wearing, the more those functions grow, eventually leading to evolution. In essence, it's about accumulating experience within magical tools, perhaps better described as gaining experience points.

Furthermore, as my level rises, it seems the number of functions that can be cultivated will increase as well, both for the magical tool itself and its functions.

Now, what happens when a magical tool evolves? For instance, while "Magical Tool Creation" could only create up to "Advanced Barrier," it seems that with "Magical Tool Cultivation," I could evolve it further to "Supreme Barrier" or "Divine Barrier."

In the case of "Appraisal," there's talk of "Supreme Appraisal" and "Divine Appraisal."

Of course, not all functions have "Supreme" or "Divine" variations.

In other words, there seem to be limitations on the functions that can be evolved. However, there's some uncertainty—could "Magical Tool Creation" also be subject to evolution?

So many uncertainties.

Well, I'll take it step by step. There's no need to rush.

First, let's focus on cultivating "Advanced Appraisal" for the left arm's bracelet.

Alright, let's begin the various appraisals.

Regarding appraising individuals, I'll consider only those who pose a threat to my privacy. I wouldn't want to inadvertently appraise someone in passing.

Advanced Appraisal

Advanced Self-Appraisal

Advanced Person Appraisal

Advanced Item Appraisal

Advanced Magic Appraisal

Advanced Material Appraisal

Advanced Magical Tool Appraisal

Advanced Cooking Appraisal

Advanced Inorganic Substance Appraisal

Advanced Spell Appraisal

Advanced Potion Appraisal

Advanced Disease Appraisal

Advanced Monster Appraisal

Advanced Animal Appraisal

Advanced Plant Appraisal

Advanced Location Appraisal

Advanced Event Appraisal

Advanced Terminology Appraisal

There are so many types of advanced appraisal.

Cultivating all of these seems like quite a task.

No need to panic. I'll take it easy.

For now, I'll start by cultivating "Advanced Appraisal."

I'll appraise the things around me one by one.

While there's some resistance to appraising individuals, I wonder if it would be a bad idea for a magical tool shop to offer both magical tool production and individual appraisal? Teaching individuals to understand their own abilities and apply them in life could be beneficial, right?

Could complaints arise from the temple that exclusively handles individual appraisal so far? Since being able to easily appraise individuals could cause trouble, it might be best to keep it a secret.

Being appraised in passing is something I'd rather avoid. I wouldn't want to be appraised like that either.

Perhaps performing individual appraisals ritually would be less suspicious.

I'll ask someone about it later.
