Chapter 1 - CHAPTER 1

In the heart of the vast city of New York with skyscrapers rising to the moon, the mysterious billionaire Lycan Tristan Grayson lived in a hidden world beneath the human realm. Born into an ancient lycan family, he possessed both the intelligence of a human and the primal instincts of a wolf, allowing him to build an empire beyond imagination. Tonight, a deep secret was hidden in the night life of the city. In human form, Tristan wore a well-made suit, having striking features and emanating an aura of confidence that captivated attention wherever he went. Eyes as sharp as the moonlight shining on him, he navigated a sea of people for the exclusive grand opening of his latest venture, a luxury casino called Greymoon.

Upon entering the luxury facility, he couldn't help but feel drawn to his lycan instincts. The atmosphere was intoxicating and mingled with the smell of wealth and desire. But Tristan has long since learned to suppress his original self and hide behind the polished veneer of a savvy businessman. The luxury of the casino surprised the guests. Everything has been carefully designed to evoke mystery and glamour. Moonlight streams through carefully crafted openings and casts an ethereal shadow over the elegant decor. In the middle of the casino floor were huge chandeliers that glittered above, intricate pieces of art that, in all their glory, bore a striking resemblance to the moon. Tristan was proud of his empire, but his aspiration had a deeper meaning. while the plush carpets underfoot felt like walking on clouds. Lavish gaming tables lined the vast hall, enticing players with promises of fortune and adventure.

Tristan couldn't help but overhear snippets of conversation as he moved through the crowd. "This place is incredible!" one person exclaimed. "I've never seen such a beautiful casino," another praised. The words of praise filled his ears, but he wanted to hear more, to truly understand if his vision had come to life and so he made his way to the slot machine section, he saw a group of attendees admiring the sleek and elegant design of the machines. "I love the attention to detail," a woman remarked. "It's so inviting," another added.

Tristan's Casino was unique; it wasn't just about gambling, but also a haven of entertainment. Dazzling live performances, from magic shows to musical acts, graced the stage, captivating the audience with their skill and talent. The excitement never waned, and the energy in the air was infectious. Greymoon was not only a playground for the city's elite, but also a secret center for Lycans to unite and protect their ancient heritage. Few know the truth behind the existence of a secret casino that is closely guarded by the Lycan community. Tristan's charisma and humor easily captivated the guests as all eyes were on him in admiration. In a world where everyone has ulterior motives, he was always two steps ahead. Casino profits benefit his human and Lycan businesses and fund his efforts to preserve the world's invisible heritage. As the clock struck midnight and the casino reached its peak, there was a commotion at the entrance. A bodyguard tried to stop the perpetrator. Sensing the rising tensions, Tristan's sharp sense excused himself from speaking with an influential business partner and allowed a crisis. As he approached, the crowd parted to reveal a young woman with bright red hair. It seemed so strange at the time. Tristan's eyes widened as he recognized Lara, a young teenage lady he had met on the street a few months ago. He saved her from some thugs and didn't expect to see her again. "What is wrong here?" Tristan asked seriously, but his keen senses were already aware of the situation. One of the guards stepped forward and spoke in a low voice, "She's been trying to force her way in Mr Greyson, we're just trying to keep her out". "Okay, I know her", Tristan replied. Lara's eyes met Tristan's and he saw a mixture of fear and determination.

"I need your help Mr Greyson." She spoke in a quiet voice, despite been exhausted from walking quite a distance. Tristan felt his instincts pulling him. It was something ordinary beyond the temptations of the human world. He knew this meeting was no accident because he never believed in coincidences. Fate led her to Greymoon. The billionaire Lycan made a quick decision and nodded to the guards to let her go. "Come with me." he said, pulling her out of the crowd and leading her to a quiet corner of the casino. "Okay ma'am, how can I help you?" he asked. "I'm sorry I ruined your night, Mr. Grayson, and thank you for saving me from those thugs". He met her eyes and said. "Well, Miss Lara, I did my best, so don't worry, but don't go down the alley. It is very dangerous". Tristan said with a smile. "Who are you and what do you do, Miss Lara?" Tristan asked curiously. "I'm a student, Mr. Greyson, but other than that I'm trying to… I… I… I play in local nightclubs and bars to pay the bills and support my sister" she answered sadly.

Tristan recognized her sad face. "Um, can you sing?" He asked., "Yes, well, I'm trying, but don't worry, Mr. Greyson. It's nothing". Lara answered . "I have an idea." He snapped his fingers and motioned to one of the six bartenders. "I... I... I don't understand Mr. Grayson." she stammered. "Let's see how well you do on stage," he replied. Lara took the stage and sang one of the songs she wrote. Her voice was so angelic that it captivated everyone in the casino. Tristan, on the other hand, was thinking about the business side when he planned to hire her as a full-time singer. Because he thought it would be a good idea to make Lara part of the casino's main attraction. Later that night, when Lara finished her song and applause and whistles filled the entire casino, her voice took everyone by surprise. "Thank you." Lara spoke into the microphone with a very excited voice as she appreciated the crowd. "Miss Lara was amazing. Her voice was like an angel." Tristan said, reaching out to pull Lara off the stage.

"You deserve compensation for your performance miss Lara." he replied as he directed her to her exit. "How much do you make per show in clubs and bars?" Tristan asked as his business sense kicked in. "Some nights I get paid $20, other nights $30." "So, would you like to work at my casino?" he asked. "Mr. Greyson, are you kidding me? That's great. Thank you so much. But I have school, how are we supposed to juggle?" She answered. "It's easy. You perform twice a week. Is that enough to balance school activities?" He motioned for one of the casino workers to come over. "Hmm, I can." She said with a smile on her face. "Don't worry about how much it is. I'll take care of it. You'll be paid $1,000 a night." Tristan took out $1,000 from his back pocket and gave it to Lara. When she heard Tristan talk about paying $1,000 for every gig, and when she saw Tristan handing her the $1,000, she put her hand over her mouth, dropped her guitar on the floor, and cried out with tears in her eyes. "You have a sister?" Tristan asked. "Yes sir, I have to go now, Mr. Greyson, thank you so much" she replied as she collected the payment. Tristan looked around and felt his instincts recede. "Have a pleasant evening, Miss Lara." he said with a small smile, "and if you want, my driver will take home". "You are far too kind Mr Greyson, thanks again sir, I appreciate it", she nodded as the driver led her to the car.
