Mar sets his priorities on getting his bow and arrow, going through the tunnel and fighting the ice golem. There is nothing else to think about right now. Mar quickly starts running towards the base of the tree he had slept on last night. He recovers his bow and his singular arrow, still sitting inside the quiver waiting to be used. He keeps running towards the tunnel that will lead to the ice golem and he steadies his breath, this tunnel, was going to be the hardest one yet.
Mar pulls the cloak in front of him and readies himself to charge forward. Mar enters the tunnel bracing his whole body, but there is nothing. There is no wind at all, Mar keeps walking forward through the tunnel and smirks, "this is no big deal at all." A wall of ice blocks the exit behind him and the icicles on the rocky ceiling start to fall one by one. Mar is forced to dodge icicles and keep running towards the exit. The icy wind kicks up, "this was a trap!", Mar exclaimed, "this tunnel is designed to get the dungeon clearer or clearers into the tunnel, coax them farther in, and then shut the escape door." The tunnel was forcing Mar to be at his utmost concentrated, any false move may spell his death. Myriads of icicles fall at once and Mar realizes that they are being regenerated by something. nothing was safe in the dungeon.
Mar is forced to change his strategy, he was originally going to focus on dodging and wait for all the icicles to fall so that he could go through the tunnel unimpeded. Now he realizes that the icicles will never stop until he has cleared this tunnel. Mar ignites his flame dagger and he keeps it close to his body, he feels the warmth and nods his head, "I can do this". At first Mar slowly walks forward while dodging and then he slowly kicks up the pace. He goes faster and faster and eventually starts channeling magic through his body, he can't keep up his pace without it. Mar keeps going faster and faster until he is borderline sprinting.
Mar sees the end of the tunnel around the time his breathe becomes ragged. He knows he will be able to make it, but the tunnel took its took on him. Mar keeps dodging and eventually makes it out. He enters the next cavern, a cavern made of ice. Mar plops down onto a pile of snow and begins channeling his magic, recovering as much as he can before he fights the ice golem. After 20 minutes, he feels recovered and he walks towards the center of the ice biome. There are huge stalagmites shooting up out of the ground and stalactites that hang from the ceiling. This cavern is more like a cave than a cavern, it is dark and there is no sun or moon to be seen. Mar can only see because he is channeling magic to his eyes.
Mar makes his way towards the center of the cavern and ignites his dagger in the meantime, Mar estimates the temperature is a few degrees below freezing. He walks on blue packed ice and stomps the ground, it seems pretty resistant. "I don't see an ice golem here", Mar says as he gets close to the center of the room. There are four pillars of ice surrounding an arena looking area, "If anywhere, this is where I would expect the ice golem". Mar keeps searching the ice biome, looking far and wide for the ice golem. It is nowhere to be found. Mar starts to get frustrated and he approaches the center of the biome again.
"How am I supposed to clear this dungeon if I can't even find the boss!" Mar shouts loudly and slams his foot against the ground. All of a sudden a deep rumbling begins and the ground beneath Mar begins to crack. A big round metal circle appear below Mar and he instantly runs away from the center arena. The big metal circle smashes through the icy surface and instantly gets covered in ice. Ice from the four pillars breaks off and surrounds the core of the ice golem. The golem begins to get taller and taller and it grows bulkier. It stands at 8 meters tall. and bellows loudly at Mar. stalactites from the ceiling begin crashing down like rain and Mar is forced to dodge them. "Now this is a proper boss fight", Mar exclaims.
