Freya suffered the worst of Hangovers the next day and had been throwing up all morning, It was a bitter sweet sensation although. She had flashes about the previous night She didn't remember all the details but she knew she had a very good night, She normally wouldn't go that far with a man she had just met but it just sort of happened...
" well I'm probably never going to see him again " she said out loud chuckling
It felt as though someone was hammering steel in her head, she had just began to Wonder when this hangover would eventually free her when her Nanny walked inside.
What would she do without that woman? Nanny had always been with her since she was a baby, she remembered nanny's face more that that of her mother's because she was practically raised by this woman. Nanny always wore a neatly pressed black dress and a white cap with a cute little apron, she had to be of Hispanic descent with her short jaw, brunette hair, light brown skin and aquiline nose. Freya wouldn't know for sure though because she never spoke of herself and where she came from.
" Your father the ruler wishes to speak to you immediately, I can't stall him any longer " she said coldly
Her Nanny would suddenly be cold with her speaking when she's serious it's her way of saying NO MORE MESSING AROUND GIRL!!
" Alright Alright Nana , I'll go to his chambers now. Gosh it's weird when you speak like that "
She rolled her eyes the entire way to her father's chambers, nana made her wear appropriate clothes fit for a princess and damn near pushed her all the way there ..." what a drag " she silently thought to herself
As she approached the door that led to her father's quarters, she remembered the previous night how it was so rough yet gentle at the same time.. she really shouldn't be thinking about her one night stand right now.
The door opened and she was announced by the butler
" Your majesty , Princess Freya " he yelled in the most posh of manners
" Send her in " The king replied
The Butler preceded to open the second door that led to His majesty's living room.
" I pray this is short " she whispered to Nana who followed all the way there
To her surprise when she entered her father's living room, He wasn't the only one there and that's highly unusual only a few special guests got to enter his private living quarters. It was none other than His Majesty Gemir III Ruler of the land of Gyotre.
" Good Morning Father, Your Majesty Good morning I wasn't aware you were visiting I apologize for my ignorance " she felt like throwing up on the inside as she gave a slight bow whilst lifting her corset. She didn't like speaking like this it was just out of respect for her Father.
" It's Alright Freya " he said in a surprisingly casual way.
" you've grown a lot since the time I last saw you " King Gemir remarked
She knew the Land of Bristol and Gyotre have had ties spanning centuries and they would always help each other out during tough times, but she didn't think Both rulers had a personal relationship, she observed the bottle and goblets of alcohol on the table , it was all confusing to her but she could care less. Freya just wanted out of that room.
Her father cleared his throat
" Freya , these are not easy times as you are well aware " He said
No!! she wasn't aware because she never really cared about all that and she's not about to start.
" I'm the last person he should be telling this " she thought
" As it is the land of Gyotre have decided to offer a helping hand once more to curb a few of the insecurities of our land "
" we're very grateful for the assistance your Majesty " she interlued facing the Ruler of Gyotre
" These two great lands have been supporting each other for centuries, and it's time we bring both Houses to one. The House of the Ruler of Bristol Bragi I and the House of King Gemir III and that will be done by wedding you Freya of Bristol and The Crown Prince of Gyotre "
" You shall enter a contract where you'll not leave the marriage so to further indicate the bond and Unity of both Lands , Failure to do that Freya would be terrible for all of us it'll signify disloyalty "
She felt her entire world collapse in front of her and she froze in place for a couple of minutes, everything and nothing went through her mind at the same time. in shock she wanted to say a lot but nothing came out
" Bu Bu- but father" with her voice shaking
His voice intensified
" THERE SHALL BE NO BUTS!! it's been decided, get your self prepared the wedding is in four weeks "
The last bit her father spoke seemed distant and distorted as if he was speaking from another room, she felt her knees wean and her body shaking hey eyes became blurry as a result of the tears about to drop, she looked away and dashed towards the door with tears rolling down her cheek
" Freya--- " Her father tried reaching out
She ran off to the Queens quarters where her teenage sister and baby brother were seated playing, she went through the door with the urgency of a frightened mouse , soon as she entered Her mother got up where she was seated with a long look on her face
" Did you already know this? " Crying uncontrollably
" Oh my dear please take a seat " Her mother said with open arms to receive her
The confusion she was expecting to see in her mothers face was no where to be found, SHE ABSOLUTELY KNEW!!! it seemed everyone knew except her
" I won't do it " she said sobbing, before she ran out of her mother's quarters and into her bedroom locking all her doors shut.
" Freya open the door, please darling " Her mother's voice on the other side of the door
She didn't want to see anyone or talk to anyone she had no idea where she was , she just wanted everyone to leave her Alone.
