Ethan entered the room at this moment. His face didn't contain a tiny bit of agony that Avery saw a while ago. A smile emerged from the corner of his lips directed at Avery and his grandfather before seating beside Avery.
Theodore looked at both of them with warmth and a hint of regret in his eyes.
"Avery, thank you for being here. Really I'm so glad that you are here with us."
With his wrinkled face and trembling hands, approaches her, his eyes filled with regret, almost making Avery want to avoid his sad eyes.
"Please don't thank me. I'm sorry I left with a single word grandpa, no matter what happened I should have informed you first." Avery said with her head lowered.
