THE NEXT DAY, AT WILLIAMS HQ- AFTER MEETING
The conference room was abuzz with activity as colleagues filed out after the meeting. Edward Miller in his perfectly neat attire with a frown on his face turned to his secretary, Linda, who was busy gathering her notes.
"Linda, could you stay for a moment? I need to go over these reports with you." Eddie said, seriously.
Linda nodded, her eyes darting nervously around the room as her colleagues left. She had a reputation to uphold, and her relationship with Edward needed to remain discreet.
Once the room had emptied, leaving just Linda and Eddie, she turned to him, her beautiful eyes narrowing in mock disapproval.
"Eddie, you almost spilled the beans back there! We can't have everyone thinking we're more than just boss and secretary." Linda scolded him.
