After they ate and chatted with Jiang and Qin, Yu Min walked Lei back to her mansion. He wanted to make sure that Lei got home safely.
"Yu Min, you don't have to walk me back to my mansion," Lei stated as they were halfway to her mansion.
"I know, but I want to make sure that you get home safely and nothing happens to you. Plus, I want to spend time with my girlfriend since she'll be staying home for a little bit so that she can rest and relax," Yu Min replied as he looked at her.
Lei mocked him as he was saying the first part and then stopped after she heard him say that she'd be staying home. She pouted, even though she knew it would be the best since she could cough up blood any moment. "You won't come visit me after college?"
"I will, but I can't promise I'll be there everyday," he said. Yu Min was keeping something from Lei. Was it the poison that he was keeping from her? Or was it something completely different?
"Ok. You just need to come visit once or so," Lei said as it went over her head to ask him why. She wouldn't question it even if she understood.
Yu Min looked at her and smiled. "Ok, love."
Lei smiled back at him.
They got to Lei's mansion and were just standing out in front of it in silence.
"Alright, this is my stop," Lei said as she spoke, breaking the silence between them, "you better get going back home and be safe going back."
Yu Min nodded and frowned.
Lei looked at him, "don't look at me like that. We'll see each other soon."
Yu Min continues to frown, "I know, but anything can happen in the time we don't see each other."
"Like what? And don't say someone could die or something," Lei stated as she looked at him.
Yu Min had to think about how he would go on to answering the question. "Well, one of us could get kidnapped (again), be under confinement, or get poisoned to where you can see."
"Yu Min, that won't happen. I mean I doubt either of us will get kidnapped or poisoned. Confinement can be a factor, but I highly doubt unless a 'plague' comes upon us," Lei stated as she tried to ease Yu Min so that he could go back home.
"So, my point still stands. I mean I could be with you when we're under confinement," Yu Min stated as he looked at her, smiling.
"Yu Min, just go back home. I'm sure that you have other important things to do besides bothering me," Lei stated as she kissed him on his cheek and headed inside, knowing that they wouldn't stop arguing.
Yu Min pouted as he watched her go in. "Rude," he mumbled as he left. He left to go and interrogate the person who "kidnapped" Lei.
As soon as Yu Min got to the prison, a guard stopped him to tell him that the person who had "kidnapped" Lei had died. Yu Min punched the wall in frustration. It would've hopefully helped out Lei.
