Days went by and the hatred between James and Valeria began to grow by the minute.
They wouldn't even speak to each other. Valeria was grateful that Jose had handed over the key to his house the day before he left.
Occasionally when James started with his troubles, she would just quietly leave the house and go to Jose's to find peace.
That morning was not so different than her others. James had gone to work before her, but she didn't mind. She wouldn't be going to work directly from home anyway.
Alejandro had asked her out and besides, she needed to find out a little about his dad since he had wanted to meet with her.
She walked into the restaurant he had chosen, trying to look and act confident as best as she could.
With a big smile on her face, she walked forward to meet Alejandro. "Hi there,"
He smiled back at her. "You look dazzling as usual." Complimented Alejandro.
"As do you." Valeria said back.
