Noah remained silent after my words. Since he started working in this company, his attitude had undergone significant changes.
"This is all I have to say, Ellie. Ethan isn't serious about you, and he'll most likely just play with you," Noah warned.
"Please, Noah, stop being so nosy in my affairs. If Ethan decides to deceive or toy with me, that's my concern," I replied firmly, turning away from him.
As I turned away and Noah entered his office, I let out a sigh of relief. I wasn't sure what he wanted or why he was meddling in my affairs.
I paused briefly as I passed by Ethan's office, feeling a mix of emotions.
I took a moment to peek inside and saw Ethan focused on his monitor, diligently working. A smile crept onto my face. Seeing my boyfriend always had a way of melting away stress and anger. I stayed for a couple of minutes before finally deciding to leave.
