Objectively, Nico knew that Gianna was good at her job. She had to be, in order to keep getting business despite the lack of a physical store. But still, it was one thing to know that she had skills and a tailor and quite another to experience them first hand.
After he had sent Sergei her fake kidnapping pictures. He had been ready to go to the meeting place right after dropping her off at home. But Gianna had stalled him with a hand on his elbow.
"I know this is an important meeting, and you have to go now. But I have something for you. Even though I can't come with you, knowing that you have it on you will make me feel better," She had told him, her eyes begging him to say yes.
