The walk to the little room where Albert was being kept was not a long one. But somehow upon Nico's return to it, every step seemed longer and longer.
By the time he finally reached it, Nico, feeling unbalanced took a deep breath and entered.
Albert was still tied to his chair, his hands shaking. But no matter how he tried, Nico could no longer view Albert as just a lowlife who had tried to hurt the mother of his child. Before him stood a man, a father. Someone so devoted to the little life he had created, he was enduring unimaginable pain just for the slim chance that he might get to see his child again.
For trying to hurt Gianna, Nico could call him every name under the sun. But for stepping up as a father, Nico only had one thing for him…respect.
"Hello, again Albert," He greeted and the man tensed, ready for more pain and Nico sighed.
