~~Asgard Outerwalls, Eric Winchester~~
"Take this, you Bastard!"
Lucas came crashing down, sporting a large navy gilded sheath, swinging it downwards for additional force to be acted upon. `What?! Lucas never did this strike before!`
Eric hurriedly held up the sword pointing the face towards Lucas, pushing with his legs to try and defend against the downward strike.
Shing
The navy sheath slammed into the sword's face, exerting a ton of force on his legs, the sheath rushed against the blade's surface as Eric twisted his body to the left.
With a finishing flourish, he followed the sheath with the blade's edge and held it to the ground. What he DIDN'T expect, however, was the man wielding a sheath one-handed overpowering the heavy blade and single-handedly lifting the sword and him upwards.
"WAH!"
A large arm stretched out for the sword Eric was wielding but he jumped backward, dragging it along with him before it could be grasped. The land underneath him was damaged from the sword's trail.
Eric slowly looked at the sword while lifting it back up.`The hell's this sword made of...`
Lucas waited for Eric to respond, standing in front of him. He dug the Sheath into the ground, using it to stand straight. Looking at Lucas's bulky frame, the sheath seemed to be quite large even for him.
Eric reflexively relaxed a bit, he dropped his shoulders and sighed deeply, the sword fell to the ground again and he took a step forward with a breath.
Eric began to speak to try and settle the situation, to save his skin; but suddenly time froze.
[Your fate is changing.]
[You have suffered from the Status Condition 'Fear'. Your movements will be stifled depending on the enemy's stats.]
Eric suddenly clutched his chest with his free hand, dropping into a cold sweat. He looked back at Lucas and noticed his face was the same... But his eyes were staring at him as if he was scum, they contained immense killing intent.
Eric took a step back and weakly lowered the sword, no longer wanting to fight at all; to give up and face the pain.
"Now, we fight for real." Lucas lowered his body slightly; leaning forward, he held the sheath with one of his hands by the slot in it; and he positioned his other arm in front in a grabbing motion. His right foot was planted firmly behind his other, and his core stabilized his body.
`What... What the hell is that sword stance?`Eric held the heavy sword in front of him, instead of controlling the sword; the heft of the sword controlled him. His posture had his right foot in front, his arms bent to apply force on the handle for swings, letting the weight of the blade guide his strikes.
His head was forward and his chest was puffed out, ready to receive attacks better than his makeshift posture from the earlier clash, the one that utterly destroyed him... Wow, should he be trying to fight this man?
Eric's face suddenly contorted into an uncomfortable frown and he stared at Lucas quite scared. "Please... go easy on me."
"I'll try!"
Lucas lept forward, keeping a low frame as he swung from the right to the left.
Shring The blow was blocked by Eric swinging the sword down, intercepting the sheath mid-swing.
Clang! Lucas immediately pulled the sheath back towards his chest and thrust it forward, aiming for Eric's chest.
Crack! A green aura covered Eric's chest, after dampening the blow it still shattered and the sheath barely stopped in front of him, which Lucas counteracted by immediately swinging upwards.
Eric tried to clash with the sheath before it hit him but the blade was too heavy and he got launched backward by the blow, he was pretty sure he heard a cracking sound as well...
[You have been inflicted with the Status Condition 'Disoriented']

While flying backward, Eric stretched his arms out to stop himself from spinning and swung downwards to counteract his momentum and take a shot at Lucas.
He shortly landed on the ground only to see Lucas dashing at him, holding the sheath with only one hand. Eric swung to the side with an improper posture to try and stop him. However Lucas suddenly ducked under the blow, and when rising back up he sharply pivoted his hips in the direction of his swing to add momentum to his swing.
Within moments the sheath slammed against the right side of Eric's body and he lost his posture, being sent tumbling down to the ground. Lucas immediately followed up and did a downward slam with his sheath, slamming it into Eric's ribs while he was already disoriented, it didn't hurt as much as before... He was holding back, wasn't he?
Lucas grabbed onto the dazed Eric and held the arm that was holding the sword up into the air, alongside the rest of him. "Are you done yet?" Lucas asked a serious question while looking directly into Eric's eyes.
Eric lost focus in his eyes as he repeatedly kept nodding, just wanting to get this battle over with. He hung limp not even trying to resist to express how much he feared him.
Lucas grabbed his sword out of Eric's hand sheathing it, and unceremoniously dropped him. "Now, you better tell me exactly what happened when I fell asleep."
"Yes, YES! Yes, I'll do anything, please just. Don't hurt me anymore!" Eric quickly agreed in a panicked tone, he stumbled on his words and was shouting as he kowtowed in front of Lucas.
`What the hell was that swordsmanship he was using?! I never saw him use that before; it scared the hell out of me...`
Lucas smirked and kneeled in front of Eric, shaking him and getting him to look into his eyes.
"So, why did you impale my leg?" He pointed at his leg, with a disappointed look in his eyes.
"I... I was doing what I was told..." Eric broke eye contact and looked away, tightly grasping onto his side which was damaged quite badly.
"And what was it that you were doing, trying to KILL me? With POISON MAYBE?" Lucas stared at him in his eyes, moving his face back, and did a deep frown with anger.
"W-what, no? I was just taking a blood sample... I was supposed to get it from you after fighting to make sure you weren't using illegal products like Red Xtract." Eric seemed confused and tilted his head while staring at Lucas.
Lucas shook his head just throwing his hands up, glaring at Eric at the end.
"Then why do it like this?! Why not just tell me, you bastard!? My blood sugar rose because of you and my doctor's gonna have a goddamn field day with my bills!"
Lucas got up, turned around, gave a few shouts, grabbed his arm tightly, and kicked the ground a few times, throwing punches into the air as well. `Is he... Relieving his stress?`
"Compensation. Give me compensation for the medical bills I'll have to go through, alright? Just 100 Sol. It's only fair, right?" Lucas gave a malevolent smile while staring down the scared Eric.
"A-alright..." Eric looked depressingly as he fell backward, grabbing a small wallet and pulling out 10 golden coins. "100 Sol..." He weakly raised his hand as Lucas grabbed it.
"Hehehehe. This'll pay my rent for the next month!" Lucas kicked and punched the air weirdly, as if celebrating then turned back to Eric. "Oh, by the way, don't touch my sword. Thanks." He tilted his head on the final word and walked away.
"I'll get you back for this one day... Lucas Evercrest."
