Synopsis
In a realm where folks wielded unique "Goldfingers," fonts of magical prowess, Lucas Evercrest remained blissfully unaware of his own exceptional potential. Little did he fathom that he harbored this incredible power deep within, an untapped wellspring. While others soared to grand heights, Lucas inadvertently subdued his Goldfinger, leaving him stranded at the humbling level 1, watching as his peers flourished. One fateful night, enveloped in the haze of sleep deprivation, our unsuspecting protagonist's world shifted. Battling to embrace slumber's embrace, he carelessly brushed against the "Mute Notifications" icon on his Goldfinger's interface before drifting into dreams' embrace. Seasons swept by like leaves on the wind, and there he stood, drowning sorrows in whiskey's amber embrace and endless loaves of bread, mourning an elusive system he believed had passed him by. Amid the din of a bar, laughter rippled like an unsteady melody. Echoes of "Status Open" danced in the air, chanted by playful kids, each repetition a chorus of mockery. Weariness pressed his head against the bar's cool surface, a failed shield against the jeers and japes. "Status Open, Status Open, Status Open," he muttered, lips grazing the wood, words coated in a blend of irony and irritation. And then, as if summoned by this weary incantation, a radiant cerulean window materialized before him. Within its luminescence, Lucas Evercrest's identity flickered, inscribed alongside his meager statistics: "[Lucas Evercrest], [Level 1 [^], Job: Starter], [HP: 1220, MP: 123], [Str:84, Agi:93, Int:43, Ins:23, Wis:53, Def:32, Sta:45, Dex:32, Con: 122]." Details unfurled like a tapestry, revealing a mosaic of attributes. His handiwork, etched in the fabric of his being, began to come to light. The window whispered of abilities and names, secrets shrouded in cryptic notation: "[Abilities: Open to show more.], [Titles: Open to show more.]" Yet even amidst this revelation, a sobering truth lingered – his status, labeled "Intoxicated," stood as a stark reminder of his present condition. Experience, captured within the confines of "EXP: 100/100," hinted at untapped potential, awaiting the spark of realization. An "Inventory" beckoned, promising more to explore, yet the ever-watchful "Missed Notifications" count of "99+" bore the mark of silence, a testament to a bygone era when his Goldfinger's voice remained muted. And so, in the quiet hum of the bar, amidst the ebb and flow of laughter and life, Lucas Evercrest's journey unfurled anew. The forgotten Goldfinger, once stifled by his own inadvertence, stood poised to rewrite his destiny, as he grasped the reigns of his dormant power, eager to ascend beyond the confines of level 1 and embrace the legacy that had patiently awaited his awakening. *This synopsis was written by someone else who wishes to remain Anonymous, thank you to who did it.* *Title is pending for the cover.*

~~~ September 7th, 2002, Asgard ~~~
A sword cuts through the air like a silver thread in the night, it rotates at a specific degree every time. Like a well-choreographed dance, the movements result in a mesmerizing sequence and pattern.
The sword swerved instead of stopping, keeping most of the momentum of his prior swing to guide it to its target, the target being the fangs of a wolf stopping it dead in its tracks.
With a boisterous voice, the attacker shouts, "Not today, you bastard!"
Using the minimum amount of muscle movement, the sword suddenly glided upwards before sharply pivoting and embedding itself into the jaw of the wolf, the contrasting colors of the bluish sword and the crimson blood were quite a sight. However, the stab made it stop and fall over, as a ghastly "roooooo" escaped from its mouth.
As the trees start rumbling and the wind gets harder several shapes make themselves known to the man.
"These damn wolves!", a loud curse resounds in the blood-soaked field as the quite tanned man kicks a corpse of a White Wolf. A White Wolf is a D-ranked Monster, and a pack of 3 or more is a C Rank Threat. But this man is standing in a field with not just 1 or 2 dead White Wolves but rather SEVEN.
He is covered in scratch and bite marks but he barely survived. "This is why I hate camping! Oh, it will be fun they said, it will help your stress they said. WELL, I ALMOST F***ING DIED AND I DOUBT THAT'S HELPING MY BLOOD PRESSURE!" The man keeps scratching his head and the brown cover that is around his neck with him pacing around the corpses, occasionally kicking one of them or stabbing his sword into one.
This man is Lucas Evercrest, a man without a system. Lucas Evercrest is a tanned Male with a well-built figure and is overwhelmingly bald, he has no facial hair and you'd mistake his head for a gem. His brown eyebrows very easily blend in with his already browned skin. The most prominent feature however is his height with a staggering 7 feet and 2 inches.
"I can't believe there was just a pack of goddamn White Wolves out here. The hell's with that?" The man grumbled curses between his breaths. "The fact I found monsters here means that I'll have to fill out even more paperwork... especially since it was a C rank threat, it's a hazard to civilians. God damnit. I JUST took vacation days off as well."
"This camping trip is a bust... I'll just have to go to the damn adventurer's guild again, and do the... paperwork... god I hate my part-time jooooob." The man was exasperated and spoke with short pauses in between. Lucas sheathed his sword and began to clean up all the bodies, removing the fangs from each wolf to account for their extermination.
"These mangy mutts. This is always the worst part, having to get your hands in there and firmly grasping the fangs..." He started feeling his cheek with his other hand, disgusted and discomforted.
While ripping the fang out of the mouth of the last wolf he noticed its peculiar shape, a thin fang with a sharp end. "The hell? This White Wolf has such a weird fang, aren't they meant for biting instead of cutting? What was this one doing for this fang to form." The man went from shock to agony as he realized it meant he had to do more paperwork, "A NEW TYPE OF EVOLUTION? GOD DAMNIT!"
"God I can't believe people are receptionists as a job... Having to file this much paperwork every, single, day."
Lucas put a large sheet on the ground and then put all the corpses in a pile, putting the White Wolf with weird fangs in a large bag inside the pile. Lucas began pulling the corners up to create a bag to carry all of the Wolves. The man suddenly jumped up with a wide grin on his face, "This will easily pay my rent for the month, maybe even two! Hehehaha!"
Lucas easily carried the large bag on his back using an exoskeleton that he put on, (Metal frame around your back and arms to increase the ability for tasks) "Just clip that on, and... Done! This is going to pay so well, this was definitely worth the 200 Gal I used to buy this!" The man began to laugh to himself quite audibly, "With this, I can easily pick up three times the weight I could normally. Transporting jobs are going to be so much easier with this, I've got to thank Daher after I return to the Inn." with a small bounce to the man's step he began to walk towards the forest clearing whilst smiling devilishly.
Lucas's mind consisted of mainly three thoughts currently, how much money he could get from these corpses, how much paperwork he would have to deal with, and, about having to keep his image when he gets back to the city.
~~Same place, same time, but now focusing on a different character~~
"Lucas Evercrest, what is your secret?" A person wearing a green robe looks through a pair of binoculars and stares at the large man practically skipping like a preschooler. "How are you this strong? How can a loser like you can suddenly become this strong? Did you get a late system awakening? Maybe you're taking illegal potions, if so I have to look into you."
The man took the hood of his robe off, revealing a young man with blonde shaggy hair, and green eyes. His handsome dark face contrasted with the dirty and shaggy clothing he was wearing. "I, Eric Winchester will find out your dirty secrets Lucas Evercrest!"
"I the future Captain of the Silver Pegasus division will smoke out your dirty tactics, and reveal to the world that you aren't deserving of all the praise you get!" The man shouted to the sky while throwing the pair of binoculars into the trees. "Wait... WHY'D I THROW THOSE BINOCULARS? I NEED TO RETURN THOSE!" Eric began frantically searching through the shrubbery to find his lost binoculars.
~~ City of Adela, Lucas Evercrest ~~
Lucas upon seeing the walls of the City of Adela suddenly slowed his pace and put on a frown to replace his current smiling face. He fixed his posture and walking speed to be calmer. He thought to himself that he needed to be calm, to not let out his feelings. Otherwise, his stoic but nice when you get to know them personality will be broken.
There was a pair of male and female adventurers walking down the path to the Forest and spotted the bag Lucas was carrying on his back, "Hey look at that giant bag! What do you think is in it?" the female adventurer asked, the girl had pink hair and eyes and was quite short, she was wearing your typical suit of armor.
The male adventurer that staggered over her replied, "It's probably just some white wolves, you can see their claws poking out from the bag." The man had brown hair and was surprisingly different from the people around him, he was wearing a pair of spectacles on his face.
What you wouldn't know though is the fact that both of them were not from this world, they are in fact, other world travelers. They are people from a place called "Japan" wherever that place is.
"Hello there..." Lucas looked at them with slit eyes, he was clearly cautious. After all, if they're not your friends, they're your enemies. That's the logic that almost every adventurer follows, you need to be better than those around you to show off to guilds and succeed in this world.
The two adventurers slowly put their hands on their hips, grabbing their weapons tightly. "You know, we heard you were quite the celebrity here. Lucas Evercrest."
