Chapter 1 - Prologue

"Dear diary, Léon Imeldas Poseidus was not someone who could be described as reliable, on the contrary, lazy, capricious and vindictive would be the most appropriate terms to describe him, unfortunately who would dare to tell him. Léon was the last born of King Poseidon, in short he was his father's darling and the jewel of the royal family, all his wishes were fulfilled and he had come to be the annoying being he was today But despite all that, Leon had a lot of qualities, well he had a quality and a talent, which made it difficult for people to reproach him, even if his character was greatly deplorable. Firstly, Leon was very handsome, of course. all his people were beautiful, but he had a beauty that was beyond all others, as if the gods had created a work of art by blessing him with fairy beauty. Lucky enough, he had inherited the song, how could that be possible? Nobody really knows, the last person to inherit this power died hundreds of years earlier and since then no one had heard the song, so he had a talent blessed by the gods themselves. Sometimes one comes to wonder how one person could be so lucky, because it was a common opinion that he really didn't deserve..."

- Krasic! A voice out of nowhere caught the attention of the person holding a diary, causing him to quickly raise his head.

He met the angry gaze of the main cause of his daily stress, Prince Leon Imeldas Poseidus. The expression of the latter clearly indicated to him that he was going to have a bad time.

- Dear fiancé, said Krasisc, what can I do for you?

- So stop this false courtesy, Leon got angry, I know you denounced me to my father about yesterday.

- Oh.

- Oh? That's all ? No excuse ?

- Prince Leon, should I have lied to the king when he asked me who had put puffer fish in the plate of ministry of ceremonies? You know very well that he is sensitive to it!

- Humph! Leon said, turning his head to the opposite side.

Krasisc watched the prince as the latter swam freely around his room touching whatever he found, his trinkets he had found during his various trips to the surface. He had to admit that despite finding the character of this guy more and more execrable, he himself was very disturbed by the beauty of the latter and secretly rejoiced to have been engaged to him. Unlike him who came from the southern seas, Leon was born from the northern sea depths and had never come out of it, all his skin like those of the rest of the people of the northern seas was completely pearly white, just like his sils and his eyes were the color of the ocean at sunrise. Leon was smaller than the rest of his siblings, slimmer too, almost fragile, and he had a black tail with a few green and blue scales here and there, the contrast with the whiteness of his skin was striking. Krasisc sometimes wondered what their first time as a married couple would be like, he was curious to see how his friend's soft white skin would look against his own which had a darker southern hue and totally black hair.

- Said Krasisc, Leon spoke after fiddling with everything he saw, how is the surface?

- How so?

- Have you ever seen terrestrials? How are they ? The excitement was clearly perceptible in the prince's voice.

- Very, very, very far! You know we can't get too close to them.

- SO ? How are they ? I heard they don't have fins! How is it possible to move without fins!

Krasisc sighed from the bottom of his heart, clearly sensing that he wasn't going to like the rest of the conversation.

- What is your point ? he asked anyway.

His suspicions were soon confirmed as Leon approached him, gently grasping his arm while flirting coquettishly, making Krasisc miss a heartbeat.

- Krasisc, my dear friend, said Leon in a small voice.

- No ! Krasisc didn't wait for the end of the sentence, knowing it wasn't going to be anything good.

- Please, Leon did what he knew best, a whim. He clung to his friend's arm, refusing to let go, we are going to consummate our union, and I should stay locked up to give birth to your offspring! I will go from the prison in which I grew up to the one that has already been decided for me! Please let me enjoy it just once!

- I will never lock you up Leon, you know that!

- I know yes, but will you have a choice?

A silence fell, the two looked into each other's eyes. Krasisc was the first to retire, as always, but mostly because he felt co
